Our Finals 2009/10 Stampers 10

This month was our last club meeting for the year - new clubs resume in August. Here is the final 3-d project we made - it is a cute little holder for a Teabag. The outside is done in Soft Suede and Crushed Curry.Inside there is a cute little pocket made from the scallop envelope die that holds a teabag for a friend.

June Stampers 10 Hostess Gift

This month Kandi was our hostess and here is what I made her - a set of 3x3" notecards as usual - but these were all made with our bird punch and DSP - in fact two were made with the Southern Living cardstock that was available earlier this year as a special. The patterns on it are so lovely. Here the entire set with the topper (sorry about the glare). But here is a picture of each individually. I thought they turned out cute and hope she liked them - we had a great time stamping.

Stampers 10 Flower Pot Card

Here is the card we made for our Stampers 10 club this month. It is a flower pot card - I apologize for this first blurry picture - not sure how that happened. It's using our current in-colors. The flower and centers are all donewith our punches. The rim of the pot is scalloped and folded down with two dimensionals under it to give it some depth. Then - voila - pull the flowers up and it reveals a lovely little bookmark. It's great because it fits easily in our regular size envelopes for mailing. Who would want this pot of flowers to arrive in their mail?

Stampers 10 Club Challenge

Here is our final challenge competion for this round of Stampers 10 Clubs - The challenge was set by Valerie last month - the card must have at least 3 layers, 1 embellishment, contain the color and red and no flowers. The first one is from Lyn - she used our retired hedge hogs - they are sooo cute. Okay, so there were some flowers - but they weren't the focal point :) Next is Kathy B's punch card - I loved it. It is so not her normal style and fun to see her do something out of her comfort zone. The next card was a beautiful and sunny card from Karen using our medallion - I love the cards you can make with that stamp. Finally, the winning card was from Sandy. Elegant and rich looking - love how she combined the look of the Presto Patterns paper with the stencil. LOVE IT!!

Stampers 10 May Card Challenge

So this month we only had two entries in our challenge - the challenge was your best masculine card using red-white and blue and was set by last month's hostess, Sally. The cards were so very different and wonderful in their own ways. The first from Karen was very patriotic - she picked up the great flag and 3cheers elements from the wheel. There is also shimmer and glitter on it, but it did not pick up well in the picture. It did not win- but was a great card! The 2nd card was our winner and was entered by Kathy B. She kept with the theme, but used a turquoisey (if that's a word) blue and a deeper red - also it's very different in layout and image - but wonderful. She double stamped her cowboy and horse giving the card the illusion of motion - very nice. Way to go ladies

Stampers 10 3-D Project

Here's the 3D project we did for this month's Stampers 10 Club - check it out. It's a cute little box made with our Top Note Die Cut. Here's a view of the back of the box. We cut out the topnotes and stamped the beautiful flowers from Elements of Style - then colored and scored to wrap around a small red box base. The Top Note is attached to the bottom and side of the box, leaving the top open when you untie ribbon. This is our amazing satin ribbon in real red - it is beautiful! Here is the front - it would be perfect for putting that expensive piece of jewelry in. Maybe I can give it to hubby and see if it gets filled :) See you soon!

Stampers 10 Card

Card of the month! Here is the card we made recently in our Stampers 10 group. It was cased from a couple examples on SCS with some changes from me - and I love how it turned out. The awning is made from the striped sheet of DSP in our Old Olive color, scalloped and rolled around a marker to get the curve. I put a couple of dimensionals under the awning at the top to help it stand out a little. The shelf is a piece of Old Olive card stock scored and scalloped. We watercolored the pots and foliage and shaded a little under for a shadow. The foliage is cut out and set on top of each planter. I think it turned out wonderful.

Stampers 10 Hostess Gift

Here are the Hostess gift cards for the month of May - I did three different designs in bold colors using our Party Hearty set - it's perfect for birthdays!! Each card has dimension as some of the elements are popped up - they also each include some of our bold brights buttons! Here there are in the cute little cello bag and topper as I presented them. Cute huh!! Hope they liked them.

Stampers 10 Projects

Each month at my Stampers 10 club we make two projects. This month the first was this cute card made with the Awash with Flowers promotional set from the April special - see this post - http://crazystampinglady.blogspot.com/2010/04/sneak-peak-special.html

It is such a great two-step stamping set - I love it!! The entire top note section on the sample is popped up on dimensionals.

Here is our second project - it's a sweet little gift box made from the Matchbox die. The pansy is made with two butterfly punches criss-crossed and attached with a brad. Perfect to put that necklace or earrings in or even to hold four little wrapped Hershey's nuggets - Lovely!

April Hostess Gift

Here is the gift for my hostesses in April - The first picture is the set of mini cards in a cello bag with a cute little topper - Here is card #1

All were made 3x3" and layered on So Saffron and More Mustard Cardstock. Everything is colored with markers and the bees have some dazzling diamonds glitter on their wings. The hive and all the bees are popped up on dimensionals. I think they turned out great!

Stampers 10 - 3-D project

At our last Club meeting we made this cute little 3-D basket. It uses the large scallop die from SU with the Big Shot - cut out two scallops and fold the bottoms of each under (I scored at 9 little scallops) and attach to a box base. The handles are punched with the SU large oval punch. We also did the same flower as in this earlier post - http://crazystampinglady.blogspot.com/2010/03/open-house-project-3.html
just using yellow tissue paper (8 layers) that we sponged on the edges with pink. Because it was more full - we just used a little brad in the middle - it hardly shows, so any brad would probably work. The buds were made with just two layers of tissue, kind of scrunched and folded together and tucked into a rolled piece of a quarter scallop oval punch. All attached together with glue dots. Here it is a bit from the side, so you can see what I meant by the box inside the scallops. Hope you liked it! Thanks for stopping by.

Stampers 10 Challenge Cards

Every Club night we set a card challenge - last month's was set by Kathy W - it was to make your best 5 1/4" square card with a mother's day theme and it had to be monochromatic and include some type of dry embossing. The entries were all great!!

Stampers 10 Card

So here's the card we made at my Stampers 10 group - it matches the candy container we made at my open house - see this post - http://crazystampinglady.blogspot.com/2010/03/open-house-bonus-project.html

The card used the bird punch from SU with the gem from the Eggscellent Eggs kit (sorry this kit is no longer available). We also added some of our great Satin Ribbon, and the scallop border. I let them pick the sentiment they'd like to add, depending on what they wanted to use the card for. I think it turned out so nice, and I made a bunch to send. So if your birthday is coming up soon - this could be your card :)

March Stampers 10 Hostess Gift

My March Stampers 10 group met recently with Meagan as the Hostess (thanks Meagan)! Here is her hostess gift from me. It's a set of three 3x3" gift cards with envelopes. Here you can see them each individually - I used the Pocket Sillouettes set and the rock and roll technique on each of the flowers. The words are from SU's Warm Words.

Feb. Stampers 10 Challenge

Monthly Club Challenge - here are the entries for this month's challenge from Lyn - it had to include DSP and one in color and use this layout, plus have an Easter theme!! We had three wonderful entries. Here is Kathy B's - Karen's -

and mine. I WON - but it was a close competition. I haven't won in a long time so it felt good. Next month I hope all 10 submit an entry. How about it girls!!

Stampers 10 Club February

This was our Feb. Stampers 10 at Lyn's house. I wasn't sure I would feel well enough to go, but I did and it was great. It felt good to get out and see all my buddies and stamp together. What a great group of ladies. I was tired when I got home - but it was worth it. Here is our first project - a St. Patty's Day card. We used the polka dot embossing folder and the hugs die cut cards. The shamrock was made using the bird punch branch as the stem, and two different hearts punched for the layers. I put a little gold gem in the middle - as it reminded me of the search for the elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The second project was a fancy fold card (easel style) that we made into a desktop calendar. It used the flower florish from the Vintage Vogue set, and the butterfly die. Everyone seemed to like the projects. Here's the calendar from the side so you can see the easel style.

And here it is from the front, although the coloring looks really washed out on this picture. I just love those little embossed butterflies.
