just using yellow tissue paper (8 layers) that we sponged on the edges with pink. Because it was more full - we just used a little brad in the middle - it hardly shows, so any brad would probably work. The buds were made with just two layers of tissue, kind of scrunched and folded together and tucked into a rolled piece of a quarter scallop oval punch. All attached together with glue dots. Here it is a bit from the side, so you can see what I meant by the box inside the scallops.
