Stampers 10 Projects

Each month at my Stampers 10 club we make two projects. This month the first was this cute card made with the Awash with Flowers promotional set from the April special - see this post - http://crazystampinglady.blogspot.com/2010/04/sneak-peak-special.html

It is such a great two-step stamping set - I love it!! The entire top note section on the sample is popped up on dimensionals.

Here is our second project - it's a sweet little gift box made from the Matchbox die. The pansy is made with two butterfly punches criss-crossed and attached with a brad. Perfect to put that necklace or earrings in or even to hold four little wrapped Hershey's nuggets - Lovely!

Stamp Camp Cards

At our last Cards Camp we featured three cards made with our Vintage Vogue set out of the Occasions mini - I love this set because it is so versatile and I really hope it comes back in the 2010-11 catalog. Here's the first one - it is so much prettier in real life - it has shimmer paint on the flowers and looks so elegant. Would be a lovely wedding card.Card number 2 is bright and Springy - perfect to brighten any friends day. And finally card number 3 that I showed before - using blues and browns for a totally different look. Hope you enjoyed these - thanks for stopping by.

Spring Stamp Camp - Part II

So here are the 3-D items we made at our last Stamp Camp - this cute little milk carton holder and cartons came from a template from Wanda Pettijohn: http://www.starlightstamper.com/2010/02/sizzix-die-milk-carton-tote.html she was so sweet to share the template. I also saw someone's site using the Eggcellent Eggs kit to decorate, so I did something similar - but I'm sorry, I can't remember where. So if it was you, please let me know and I'll be happy to give credit to you. I love that Eggs kit from SU! as it contains die cut flowers and leaves in many colors, die cut egg stands, white rub-ons and self-adhesive gems - all for $9.95. In fact we made 11 of these sets, and I still have way over half the kit left -what a great bargain for your spring cards, 3-D items and egg decorating. Contact me to order yours now! Isn't it cute - fill it with a couple candy treats and give it to someone you LOVE!!

So, here's the second 3-D project we made - a little planter box filled with some gardening goodies for the gardener in your life. The metal box is covered with DSP and then I used the Daisy die cut to make flowers to mimic the Zinnias on the front of the seed packet. The petals were curved back and then by using a dimensional to adhere in the middle the get a nice fullness. Here is a close up of the largest flower.and here are the goodies that went inside - a pair of gardening gloves, a packet of Zinnias and a cute little gift tag made out of a planter name stake using the Garden from the Heart set from the current Occasions mini. I think they turned out really cute

Be sure to join us for our next stamp camp April 13th - details to come.

Spring Stamp Camp

Last Tuesday night was our "Spring Stamp Camp" and we had a great time. Attendees made two of this cute little card. They had the choice of the Easter sentiment or many others if they didn't want that one. Heidi won this Eggcoutraments set at Leadership - and it is sooo cute! They also made two of this cute "little bunny butt" card - and could also pick a different saying if they didn't want Easter. It was mostly done with punches - the tail was made by punching a scallop oval and then feeding the end back into the punch and punching again. The little eggs were made the same way with the small oval punch, and then designed with the white gel pen. Heidi designed these two cards.

Thursday I'll show the 2 3-D items we made.

Secret Stampin' Sisters - March (Part I)

Well - this past Saturday was our Quarterly "Calling ALL Crazy Stamping Ladies" meeting for my downline. We had our regular Secret Sister exchange with some great items - so, since I actually remembered to take pictures -I thought I'd share. This will be the first post with a few more to follow. Since the gifts are given in secret until our reveal party in December I can only say who received, but not who made - but I still hope you enjoy seeing the great creativity in our group!

This first gift was Karen's an adorable Easter basket with some goodies.and her SSS also made her this amazing assortment of cards. Next is Diane hold the Easter Bunny Pig candy jar filled with nummy chocolates, and she also received a beautiful monogrammed set of note cards in a folder. The picture turned out dark, so I am going to try and lighten it, and if it gets better, I'll post that later.
Julie's SSS gave her this little spring tin decorated with SU's felt flowers and filled with Jelly Bellies - yum!and she also received this decorated pen and monogramed notepaper set. Isn't this just so much fun - if you want to join in the fun contact me now regarding being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and part of my downline. Watch for more tomorrow!
