Christmas/Hanukkah Card #2

Here is the 2nd card that we offered at our August Christmas Card Stamp Camp.  I love the beauty and simplicity of it.  The Christmas choice uses the amazing "Ornament Keepsakes" set - just look at that beautiful ornament.  We used the new gold marker to highlight the top of it, and added a bit of ribbon.  Both choices, have the dotted embossing folder background - and the "Labels Collection Framelits" - so pretty!

This month we also offered a Hanukkah version of the same card using the "Jewish Celebrations" set - same background - same framelits.  We used the silver marker to add a little spark to the flames and base of the Menorah - and then flipped the card so it's horizontal rather than vertical.  I really like how it turned out.

Since both cards were done on a dark base - we added some white cardstock to the inside of the card with the verse and a small accent stamped on it.  I love the way this one looks with the Star of David. 

 

Our next Christmas Card Stamp Camp is scheduled for Sunday, September 23 - we can always do a winter/Hanukkah version of a card if requested.  So plan to join us!! ~Maureen
