Our Christmas GIft Exchange

Okay - soooo sorry for the delay - I thought I'd better try and get all my Christmas Posts done before January's over :)  Can't believe how time flies - so enjoy seeing all the great items we exchanged over the next few days.  We just asked that something be stamped - it could be the item or the wrapping or both.

December H2O kits - Part 2

Today I'm sharing the final projects that members received in their December H20 kits.  Kits included everything (except adhesives and clear blocks) to complete the projects shown.  January kits went out this weekend.  If you'd like to sign up for the next month (February) click on the H20 information at the top of this page.  This first picture was the inside of the first card from yesterday's post - sorry I didn't post it with it.

 

Customers received one or the other of the two projects below depending on if they chose the kit of mixed cards and 3D  items - or if they picked the cards only kit.

Holiday Boutique

So in December we held our first ever full boutique in my home for the holidays.  It was wildly successful for all of us so I am sure we'll do again - maybe even a Spring one - will see.  Today I just wanted to share some of our pictures from that fun day!

A gift for Ellie....

My newest grandneice, Ellie, was recently born to my nephew Steve and his wife Robyn.  As is tradition - I have made a hand-crocheted baby blanket for every grandchild and every great neice and nephew.  Here is my gift and card to her, along with a cute little dress by my daughter's company "Little Paisley."

Below is a picture of adorable Ellie all snuggly in her blanket.  With the temps they've been having in the midwest - I think it arrived just in time.

Angels .... we made angels

At our Downline Holiday Party this year we made the beautful little angels you have seen all over the net.  They are so cute, and easy and look lovely on the tree. I used leftover printed cardstock from the Thanksgiving kit - I think it looks really elegant.  Here's the chart we used for punching.

You can see the little angel completed and hanging in the frame below.  I made up several and they look lovely on my tree.

The next pictures are of some of the Crazy Stamping Ladies making their angels and enjoying our party.

Wine and Snowflakes

So I wanted to share the adorable snowflake wine tags I made this year for several bottles of wine we gave away for the holidays.  The first two were made with the snowflake kit from Stampin' Up! - the pieces were all preprinted and scored which made it amazingly easy and quick to put these together.

This final one was made by me using the snowflake set and framelits to cut them out.  I stamped the layers, but them out, folded and glued - isn't it beautiful. 

Everyone who got one of these loved them! Since it looks like snow is still around in most of the country, these would still be great to make and use.  Thanks for stopping by.  ~Maureen

Gramma Day with Zamarah

So in November I had my first official full Gramma day with Zamarah - she got to pick what she wanted to do - so the first stop was at a local Pizzaria - note that the pizza zlice was almost as big as her - LOL.

Then she wanted to go to the park and feed the ducks - she got a little freaked out at one point when there were about 100 ducks and geese around her - but for the most part she loved it.

Then of course - we played - the jungle gym, the merry-go-round and her fav - the swings!!

Then we spent time at Gramma's snuggling and watching a movie, coloring and journaling. Before heading home we stopped for ice cream treats - and brought them home to share with Jenee, Paisley and Prince.

Fun day - now that she's in AZ - I'm going to really have to plan these Gramma days :)  But I'm sure I can do it.  Love you baby girl!  ~Gramma

Welcome to 2014!!

2014 ~ It's gonna be a great year!!

At least I hope so :)  I am sorry I have been missing the last couple weeks.  We moved my daughter and her family to our new home in Arizona, where she'll live hopefully till we retire in a few  years.  But we moved her out of her apartment the day after Christmas, and I had no idea how much that would all make us busy - at already such a busy time of year.

No Christmas cards went out - even though I have over 100 made to go out.  Just no time.  My letter is going out late to many - but that is so unlike me.  But hopefully, now things are back on track and I plan to have a great year full of fun, family and blessings.  Watch for new posts on a regular basis - and in just a few posts - Blog Candy for my 1,000th post!  So don't miss it!!   I'll be back posting a lot for December -  Thanks for sticking with me.  Love, Maureen
