I know already it will be a year of challenges, and exciting adventures as Paul and I retire and move on to a new chapter in our lives.  But we are so excited.  God has blessed us through the years and we trust He will continue to do so and guide us as we go.

Welcome to 2014!!

2014 ~ It's gonna be a great year!!

At least I hope so :)  I am sorry I have been missing the last couple weeks.  We moved my daughter and her family to our new home in Arizona, where she'll live hopefully till we retire in a few  years.  But we moved her out of her apartment the day after Christmas, and I had no idea how much that would all make us busy - at already such a busy time of year.

No Christmas cards went out - even though I have over 100 made to go out.  Just no time.  My letter is going out late to many - but that is so unlike me.  But hopefully, now things are back on track and I plan to have a great year full of fun, family and blessings.  Watch for new posts on a regular basis - and in just a few posts - Blog Candy for my 1,000th post!  So don't miss it!!   I'll be back posting a lot for December -  Thanks for sticking with me.  Love, Maureen

To all my family, friends and customers - Happy New Year!!!  May 2013 be full of God's richest blessings for you and yours!

I know I have been missing in action and I apologize - have been soooooo sick.  We've had the headcold/sore throat/no voice/ fever and just plain yuckiness virus run amuck through our family for over a month now - and I am hoping to leave it behind in 2012 :)  See you all soon ~Maureen

December Cards - Card #3

Happy New Year!!  So here is the 3rd card we made at our Cards Stamp Camp.  It uses the single stamp available currently through SU! We stamped it with Staz On black, and then layered it over a piece of Black cardstock and a strip of silver glitter on black for some sparkly bling!  Added some DSP and ribbon for an elegant welcome to the New Year.

Here's a close up of the countdown - I hope you can see that we added three little gems to the bubbles for that added sparkle.

Happy New Year!

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
