Yes - I'm a bit late with that wish - but today is the first day I am actually out of bed and sitting at the computer in 2018 - so it is a HAPPY day!  Although I don't know how long I will make before having to rest.  I have had the flu since December 28th and have not been out of bed at all except for necessities since then.  Yesterday I was so sick and could not breath well, so my daughter took me to Urgent Care to find out I also have pneumonia.  So here I am 24 hours of steroids and antibiotics later and was able to shower and sit up.  But I am wiped out.  And at such a bad time because - It's Sale-A-Bration 2018!!!

#imbringingbirthdaysback - March

Hey all - first apologies for the lack of posting the last couple weeks.  Have been struggling to keep up as I have just not felt well at all.  Last couple days it got really bad with headaches, fever and no sleep - finally went to Urgent Care yesterday and turns out I have an ear infection and a serious sinus infection.  So now after 24 hours of steroids and antibiotics - I am feeling so much better.  Hopefully it's all downhill from here :)

I have however been working on my birthday cards for my Bringing Birthdays Back campaign.  If you've been following me, you know it's my plan to send a handmade birthday card out to anyone who wants one this year. Just message me with your birthdate and address and you've got it!  So here is one of my designs.  We made this at my last cards class and I just think it's lovely.

I am a flower freak - and yellow always makes me happy - so this card is just perfect for me.  I'm going to be doing it also at another class with another group of ladies later this month.  It's just too pretty to not make again - lol!  Hope you like it too!  See you all soon - I promise ~Maureen

Missing in Action - sooooo long

Hi all - I am sorry I have been missing so long - I can hardly believe it's been almost 3 weeks.  My health has been on a real downward spiral this month.  In the entire month I only had about 1 1/2 good days - which is very unusual.  I felt so miserable that I was thinking thoughts like this -

Just kidding - but I thought it was funny.  I didn't die and don't think I'm close to death - but I am pretty miserable.  I'm trying to get an appointment with a new specialist - so maybe I can get some answers.  In the meantime - back to stamping.  Here is the set of cards I gave to my Club hostess this month.  I am so glad this set, "Blooming with Kindness" is not going away - as I think it is just beautiful.

Green Hills and Blue Skies

Spring is one of my favorite times in Southern Cal.  The weather is warm (but not hot!)  The clouds are amazing - rain has made the hills green.

Just want to let everyone know my autoimmune is really giving me a run for my money.  Feel like I've been hit by a MAC truck most of the time.  So forgive me as I take a bit of a break for blogging.  I'll be back soon, God willing.  ~Maureen
