Backstage Las Vegas Leadership Conference

So last month I spent several days in Las Vegas at our Stampin' Up! Leadership conference and had an amazing time.  I just wanted to share a bit of it here - both for you and for me!  First are the gifts I made for several friends and my Global Inspiration Team gals - it's this cute little box -

Filled with a Tennessee staple - lol -

I included this information -

Moon Pies and Fireflies – two great parts of life in Tennessee.

Moon Pies originated in Tennessee back in the early nineteen hundreds and were supposed to have been made for the coal miners there to make their time underground a little more bearable.  In the 1950’s Moon Pies paired with RC Cola as an affordable and filling snack and each year there is a RC Cola and Moon Pie festival held in June in tiny Bell Buckle, TN – that smiling visitors from all over the world attend.

On a warm summer night in the state of Tennessee, fireflies – also known as lightning bugs – are a common sight.  These insects light up the sky in rural and suburban areas for a few seconds at a time with their tiny yellow-green abdomens. For me they are a nostalgic memory of my childhood in Wisconsin – I just love them.  They are magical and awe inspiring.

Enjoy ~Maureen Rauchfuss, the Crazy Stamping Lady!

Soooo - what happens in VEGAS does not stay in VEGAS!

We bring it all back - to share with you!
Recently I had the privilege of attending OnStage Stampin' Up! in LasVegas with eight of my Amazing Team Members.  What a great event.  I always come back super energized - so am going to share a bit with you today.  Those of us who attended got our Annual catalogs - these won't be available to the other demonstrators and our customers till sometime in May - and we can't order from it till June (but watch for a sneak peek special in May.)  Anyway - it is AMAZING - we can't share much now - but you will LOVE it!  So if you want your very own copy and do not have a U.S. demonstrator - or are already my customer - please let me know and you will get yours in May.  If you have another demonstrator - please contact them to receive your copy.

Friday afternoon we arrived and I had this wonderful room -
With an awesome view -
All SU demonstrators who achieved the level of Silver Elite or above got star treatment at CentreStage on Friday night - great food, training and prizes - here's my haul from that night - not bad!
And of course I have to share food pictures - it was all sooo yummy!
Salad
Dinner

Dessert

The best part was seeing my TEAM members that were able to come from all over (several states) to be there -
Kelea, Paula, Toni, Sarah, Kathy, Rina, Jean, Me, and Vicki!
Our TEAM did a group swap - just look at these great cards - they did an amazing job!

Jean B
Kathy B
Maureen R
Paula B
Toni H
Vicki D
And, even though it was a card swap - one of my Team members, Kelea, made these awesome mugs for each of us.  I am a coffee lover - so any mug gets me excited - but our Team Name is the Crazy Stamping Ladies - so how cool is that!!!  You will see me with this mug - often!  See you soon ~Maureen

TEAM gifts from Heidi....

I don't think I ever shared these simply adorable gifts my daughter Heidi made for the members of our TEAM attending OnStage in November.  They are Trader Joe's coffee and tea chocolate bars - that come in really fun packaging to start.  Of course mine was a coffee one -
But then with some simple stamping and cutting - she decorated them just delightfully!  I am a clean and simple girl - and these to me are just sooooo cute!  A rainbow of treats!
She used the Coffee Cafe set on page 31 of our annual catalog - and some beautiful cardstock colors to compliment the candy wrappers.
Hope you find a way to pretty up a gift for someone -  you just might make their day! ~Maureen

Gifts from convention

So part of the fun of convention is downline and roommate gifts - so that last couple posts showed what I made - but today I'm posting a few of the things I received.
Birthday box full of salt water taffy from Toni!
Beautiful composition notebook journal from Heidi!  Plus some yummy homemade caramels.
Adorable little bag filled with awesome chocolates from Stefanie.
Keeping a few more goodies to share with you next time - but here are three great stamping ideas you can share for teacher, birthday, or your just my friend gifts :)   ~Maureen

Mother's Day gifts....

Finally getting around to posting my Mother's Day gifts.  This year Paul and I went out to dinner earlier in the week to avoid the crowds, and then on the actual day, for the first time ever I did not see my kids or grandkids - so it was all a bit sad :(   But I was not forgotten - besides the dinner out from hubby, my daughter Heidi gave me these gifts - 1) an amazing "cloche" that she picked up at a local swap meet.  It is so vintage looking and she filled it with a pot of succulents to grace my table. The first picture is without a flash and the second with so you can see the detail a little more.

She also made me this rustic ball jar wall hanging for our new house.  It can be used for art pencils, pens, etc. or even fresh flowers.  Looking forward to finding just the right spot to place it.
And my other daughter, Jenee, sent me a beautiful card with a Spa Finder gift card - once we get settled I plan to find the perfect place to pamper myself with that.  I was planning to take pictures of the cards and post - but realized I had already packed them - lol.  This living between two homes if for the birds!  So even though I was a little lonesome - I am abundantly blessed!!!  ~Maureen

Fun stuff from my Heidi

Now it's time to share some great things from Heidi - here is an ADORABLE Christmas card from her - I really love the white wash on the blue for the snow and the cute little popped up bear.
As a thank you for being her upline she made me this coffee scented soy candle.  I love candles and I love coffee - thus - the perfect gift!!
Here's the top of the candle - full of coffee grounds - it smells wonderful!!
And here's the lovely thank you card she made me.  So sweet!!
Thanks Heidi!  See you all soon!!! ~Maureen
