Final Convention Round-up

So today I'll share the rest of my Convention memories - it was such a fun experience.  First off my lanyard and name tag at check in time!
A view of just a few of the stampers there from the escalator.
Main stage where all of the general sessions were held - they always decorate it so beautifully.
The unveiling of the new Holiday catalog - I placed my pre-order today and there was sooooo much stuff I wanted, but I was able to real myself in a bit and start slow - mostly things for my Halloween projects for now.
A couple of the cute little projects we were able to make and get our hands on some of the new product.
Our Crazy Stamping Ladies' Group -

Diane, Toni, Xandra, Jeri, myself and Heidi!

A fun Paper Pumpkin promotion set we were able to purchase.
A special leadership/years of service award full of stamping goodies.
Our annual end of convention dinner at PF Chang's with a couple friends.
And when I got home - this was my haul - actually there are even things missing.  It was really an amazing time - the final convention as we know it.  From now on it will be semi-annual OnStage events held all over the world - so I am glad I was able to attend this one in Salt Lake City.
Stop back soon.  Stampingly, Maureen

Convention Prizes and More Prizes!!

So at this year's SU convention everyone was a winner!!   That's right - every single person there won prize patrol and that was besides all the awesome goodies we got and the all convention give-aways!
Diane and Shawna
Heidi
Annette
Jacqui and Toni
Jeri
Lisa
Vicki and Maureen
Virginia
Then they announced that 25 LUCKY ladies - who had not yet gotten a prize would receive this - Every stamp set in the Holiday Catalog!
And our very own Kathy B was one of those lucky 25!!!  It was her first convention and what a high note to end it on!
Can you see how excited she was - and we all were for her?!?
Since they were going to ship the stamps to their homes - they each got this great hand made card congratulating them.   What a sweet keepsake.
What a fun and exciting convention for all of us.  If you'd like to join my team and join us at Convention next year - just let me know!!  I'd be happy to discuss all the possibilities!!  ~Maureen

Great Gift

Today I wanted to share this adorable gift I got from my downline Toni.  She brought it to my appreciation lunch- and I was soooo impressed.  She sewed it with SU fabric - how cool is that - it's a wine tote.  What a lovely way to present a bottle of wine as a gift.
I love most all crafts - but I cannot sew - so I am really impressed when someone can.  I think Toni has inspired me to take a sewing class or two.  Thank you so much Toni - I absolutely LOVE IT!!!  ~Maureen

My 13 Year Stampin' Up! Anniversary

I cannot believe that yesterday was my 13th anniversary of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I went to my first SU workshop a week before joining - fell in love with the product - signed up just to get and pay for my demonstrator kit - and the rest is history! I fell in love with the company, the customers, the FUN!! I hope to be stamping for many, many years to come.

Here are two congrats cards I received -

The first one is from Toni - wish I had that figure :)
The second is from Jeri - that DSP sooo reminds me of vintagey wall-paper.
Thanks ladies for thinking of me!

Those missing....

Several of my downline couldn't make the Holiday Party due to other commitments - but I want to show the lovely gifts they received from their Secret Sisters - Here is Toni's gift from Jeri. It's a glass box filled with Christmas lights and decorated with mulberry paper and stamped images. When you plug it in the lights give off a soft beautiful glow - perfect for the holidays.
Next is Melissa's gift from her Secreti Sister Bobbie - Bobbie decorated this lovely box with our Deck the Halls Designer Series Papers, ribbon and buttons and a lovely vintage flower. Here is Karen's gift from Melissa - she made her individually stamped BINGO cards, and inside the jar are all the images stamped and colored for drawing them for the game. Also in the basket were round punched markers for the cards and some wonderful chocolate treats - WOW.

This second picture shows one of the cards and marker circles better.
and last but not least - here is the gift Diane gave to Denise. It is a beautiful bamboo serving tray with our "EAT" decor elements on it. There was also a wrapped box with a creamer and sugar set in it, but since it was not stamped on and was wrapped so nicely we decided not to open it. I hope everyone enjoyed getting their gifts and finding out who their 2010 Secret Sister was.
For 2011 we're changing it up a bit. Instead of having Secret Sisters all year long, we are going to do a quarterly name drawing for anyone that would like to participate. Then at our quarterly meetings we'll do a gift exchange, and draw again for anyone that would like to participate the next quarter. That way you can participate when you want, and not when you don't want; and new demos can add in as the come. Should be fun. So watch quarterly for our gift reveals.
