More Farewell Fun!

Well first I wanted to share this lovely card that Heidi gave Paul and I for our anniversary.  She just has such a talent for making cards - love them all!!

Then here is the card she made me for my farewell party.  It is really cool just the way it is ... but watch...

When you open it the camera panel pops up through an opening in the front of the card - so great!!

Here's another fantastic card I received from my downline Toni - who couldn't make the party!

Inside the bucket - a vase of beautiful flowers, yummy caramel candies and of course.... COFFEE!!

By the time we took this picture several people had left - but this was part of our group.  Thank you all again for such a wonderful send-off!

Tata for now

Last Friday several ladies in my downline (and formerly in my downline) threw a little farewell get-together for me.  Kathy B. opened her home and everyone brought amazing food.  The wine and laughs flowed freely.  There are pictures coming in the future - but for now I wanted to share some of the great cards I received.

Kathy W's card - I know it's Christmas - lol.  But she said she can't make a Christmas card without thinking of me.  For the last several years I have done a monthly Christmas card class and she has made it to many of them.

April Downline MeetingDevi

So at the last Downline meeting part of our business discussion was on running a card buffet.  Each of the ladies were able to make four cards of their own.  Above was one of the choices - below - that gals having fun stamping.

Work of Art demo from Kathy B

At our downline meeting Kathy B offered to demonstrate a fun (out of the box) way to use the amazing new "Work of Art" set.  Here she is demonstrating this quick and easy card - done in about 5 minutes - and a great use of the set.

 

 Just a single layer card, a great set and some beautiful SU colors.

Voila!  There you go - card all done!  Thanks a bunch Kathy!

Kathy B's shares for Downline

Each quarter at our Downline meetings I encourage the ladies to bring cards and projects they have made; or ones they plan to do soon in a class, etc. - to share with the group.  These are the cards that Kathy B brought to share with the group.  She is always trying something new and I love all the different styles she created.

Through the Mist technique...

At our quarterly downline meeting my downline, Kathy B. demonstrated a great new technique for our group - her version of a technique "Through the mist"

She did a great job showing us the different steps it takes to get this lovely affect.

A Great Shoebox Swap

Last Saturday we had such a fun time of stamping.  I hosted a Shoebox Swap at my home for members of my downline.  Here are the tables getting set up for the event.

Christmas Gift Exchange - Final installment :)

I lied - I had promised yesterday was the last of our gift exchange - but I missed a couple pics - so had to share.  Here's Paula with her cute package from Maria
