So at the last Downline meeting part of our business discussion was on running a card buffet.  Each of the ladies were able to make four cards of their own.  Above was one of the choices - below - that gals having fun stamping.

Gift exchange....

Today's sharing starts with Sarah's exchange gift - look at this lovely packaging - all done with Stampin' Up products - one of my favorite cardstock that we currently offer and look at that ribbon!

Lois was the lucky recipient of this beautiful glass plate filled with homemade fudge - look so yummy!!

And one  more - this was the package from Paula - card and bow made with SU paper and look at the adorable painted snowman ornament.

I was the luck recipient - which was awesome because I fell in love with the ornament.  Then when I opened the box - look at this amazing wreath that was inside!!   I hit the jackpot!

And here it is - proudly displayed in my home - I love it Paula!

There are a few more gifts to share with you  - so stop back soon.  ~Maureen

More on Lois' Tree

I wanted to share a bit more today on how I made this Christmas Bulb Tree for my Secret Sister Lois.  I found a picture of something similar on Pinterest and had to try it.  You purchase different sizes of coordinating bulbs and then put them on a knitting needle - yes you heard correctly :) - to make the tree.  I used an empty ribbon spool as my base - I put the needle through it and glue gunned it to hold it in place - then glue gunned that entire base to the center of my red charger.
Then after putting all the bulbs on the way I wanted - I created a tree skirt using our medallion die and some coordinating paper.  I put the skirt around the bottom of the tree and glued it in place.
Then I used a stencil and traced and cut out two of the glitter stars for the top of the tree.  I used glue dots to secure each of the points together - then slid it down over the top of the knitting needle.  It was my first attempt, and not perfect - but I was happy with it and I hope Lois liked it.  A special gift for a special friend.  ~Maureen

Secret Sister - Part II

Today I'm sharing Lois' gift from her Secret Sis - it is another lovely decorated candle.  But with a BooBoo - when Lois was opening it, somehow the jar broke :( Sorry secret sis!!  Hopefully she can still use it.  Fortunately she didn't get cut - so that was good.

See you tomorrow!  ~Maureen

Secret Sister Gifts

Last Saturday was my First Downline Appreciation lunch.  It wasn't our regular secret sister month - so I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple gifts had been delivered to my front porch.  The first one was for Karen from her Secret Sis - this adorable recipe box filled with stamped recipe cards, and divider tabs.  The picture did not come out that great because it was still in the plastic.  But so cute.
Second was this cute bag and card for Lois from her Secret Sis -
Inside was this cute magnet board with button magnets.  Just look how happy it is :)
See you all soon for some more stamping fun!! ~Maureen
