Just want to share the
"fruits" of our labor. Actually - we did very little - we'll give God the credit. One of our little apple trees in our back yard had an amazing year this year - there were clusters of 6 and 7 apples in spots.

So last week hubby and I decided we'd better pick them before the squirrels knocked them all down. From that one tree we got 72 Granny Smith applies.

Hubby loves apple desserts - so Saturday was baking day - here is my first batch of sliced apples ready to go in the pan. Thank goodness for my apple/peeler/corer/slicer -

and here is my first apple crisp - fresh out of the oven. Baked some, froze some, shared some - and still have some to go. But they are delish!
