Sunburst Technique!

Today I'm sharing our Technique Card and our Project Card from my April Clubs!  Sunburst cards!  It is really an old favorite of mine for several reasons - 1) It's quick 2) It's easy 3) you use up scraps and 4) it packs a lot of punch!  Here is the card we made up for our binder.  I love the colors - so bright and cheery - this is the Painted Autumn DSP from the 2017 Holiday Catalog.  On this card we did the pattern vertically and offset from the center a bit.

The card below was our project card - for this we used the Delightful Daisy DSP from the 2017/18 Annual Catalog.  You can see how using papers from a DSP pack works so well, because everything coordinates.  This card layout was done horizontally and starting with a center point -which is where we then placed out punched out daisy with a Gold faceted gem center.

March Club 2 - Baby Wipe Technique

The baby wipe technique is such a fun and easy way to get lots of color onto a stamped image.  This month in my Technique Club #2 here in Prescott - it was the technique we learned.  Here is the technique card we added to our binder -

Above we did several colors on our baby wipe and made the balloons - every one that you stamp looks different.  And below is he actual greeting card we made with the technique.

For the card we made a baby wipe palette of about five different colors (more than usual but we were only stamping once or twice, so it didn't get muddied.)  After stamping our verse - we cut out a beautiful butterfly with pink glimmer paper and added it with a few glue dots.

The glue dots were only on the body of the butterfly allowing the wings to pop up a bit, and give the card some dimension.

September Technique Club - Plastic Film Stencils

So, for our September Club I had a customer interested in our Seasonal Decorative Masks (pg 43 of our Holiday Catalog).  So I decided to do a class featuring our masks, but that would also show them how to use other stencils.  Here is the technique instruction card we made for in their binders - excuse the date correction - that was only on mine and I printed it correctly on theirs :)

We stenciled the diagonal stripes in Real Red for our technique instruction card - to mimic the look of candy canes.  Below are the four masks that you get in the kit for only $6.00, and they show an example of each of the stencils on cardstock.
