Hopping Around the World Blog Hop October 2019

October 2019 - Christmas theme!

So today I am sharing a beautiful card using the Garden Lane DSP from SU's Annual catalog.  Those greens are just so fresh and perfect for holiday crafting.  What really makes this card POP is the awesome deer and flowers cut from the Noble Peacock Foil sheets.  That shimmer is perfect for holiday cards.

You can see above that I also stamped sentiments and flourishes on the card and envelope, from the Dashing Deer set in the Annual catalog.  I really love that SU! included so many Christmas sets in their annual catalog - as I do my Christmas cards year round.

Here's the inside of the card - I have it some extra character with an stitched edge oval to carry the ovals from the front of the card right on through; and added  a couple more foil flowers.

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!

Hi All - can you believe it - less than a month till Christmas!  And no - I am not even close to ready!  But one way I stay on top of things is to host a Christmas card class every month.  I start in January and if you come every month, January through November - you will have 44 completed cards ready to go in the mail December 1st.  So make it a resolution to come join me each month in 2019!  Below is one of the card designs we made at a recent class - and I really love it.  That deer is so festive and fun - and ready to send holiday cheer.

New Holiday catalog and Day 7 of our Alaskan Cruise!

So today is the day - the Holiday Catalog is LIVE and you can purchase!  Click on the catalog before and you can view the entire thing - and believe me -  you are gonna love it!

Oh Man, can't believe I'm sharing the last full day of our cruise - here we are at sea early morning headed down to Victoria, Canada.

Paul and I took a bus tour around the town, and it was amazing - the architecture just blew my mind - all of the history in those buildings.  But - I cannot find the pictures I took - and I took a ton.  They are hiding in my camera somewhere - argh!

After we got back on the ship - we headed down to SU!'s base camp one more time -

After all this SU! hosted a farewell get-together with more yummies - but again - I cannot find those pictures.  Double argh!  But back in our cabin we were once again welcomed with pillow gifts.  In that tube is a large scratch off map - where you can scratch off the areas you travel too - how cool is that.

And we got one of my very favorite new bundles in the Holiday catalog - this Dashing Deer set and framelits.  I LOVE IT!
