Paper Crafting Blog Hop March 2022 - Animals and Punches

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop for March 2022 - featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you this month - all spotlighting - projects that have animals and use punches!

~*~*~*~*~

For my project I made a very personal card. Well, actually since these are difficult to make when needed - I made several for my stash. I recently found out a friend lost her best little buddy - and needed a card to send her - so I made some dog (and some cat sympathy cards as well) to have ready for future.

Pet sympathy cards - and human sympathy cards are tough. I love that the Pampered Pets set is adorable, but still has this lovely sentiment for the loss of a pet. Although, it could also be used appropriately on a human sympathy card.

#152520 - Price in U.S. markets $21.00*

For my card I also used the Heart and Scallop Heart punches as my punch choice as they were just so fitting with the sentiment -

And to get the little bitty hearts I used the die below - picked out the little hearts and colored them with a Poppy Parade (PP) Blend. I could have just die cut out of PP, but had a scrap of Basic White there so used it.
I finished by cutting the dog, as well as the food bowl, out with the appropriate dies, coloring them with blends and popping them up with Dimensionals.

I hope you got some inspiration from this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and I would love any comments!

Gorgeous card. Our pets are part of our families so we feel their loss very keenly, so this card would be gratefully received.
