BRING on the FUN!!!!

Today I decided to play with a brand new suite of products from the Occasions catalog - Picture Perfect Party!   It is big and fun and bursting with color - the basics are - the Picture Perfect Birthday Set -

And this amazing Picture Perfect Party DSP - it is unique in that one side has graphically designed imagery; while the other side features photographic imagery.  So wonderfully vivid!

So here's my first card with this set - I've included a inspiration sheet in the Free Inspiration Sheet Library at the top of the page, with all the details!
But I do want to share one really new cool product I used on here - the Tutti Frutti Adhesive backed sequins.  These are AWESOME!!!   No more glue spilling over - these are self-adhesive and so much fun!!!

Inside is one of the many sentiments in this set with a sprinkle of confetti!
Here is another angle - just look at the detail on that photo-DSP - looks like those confetti circles are popping off the page!

SAB 2018 Beautiful Peacock Cards and FREE inspiration sheet

Hi all - so thankful that I have been able to do some stamping today.  That may be all I get accomplished, but that is fine - I have not stamped in weeks.  Believe me - these are sweet and simple - but wow - today they were work :)  I'm still wiped out.  I chose this set to focus on today as I wanted to have something bring a smile to my face and  yours and this did it for me.  Here's the set you can get FREE with a $50 purchase.

So I started by just picking a color palette to work with - in this case Fresh Fig, Crushed Curry, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.  I stamped the Peacock three times using the same colors, but varying where the color placement was.   Then cut three coordinating colored layers to go under them.  Finally I stamped three identical card bases and three envelopes.
Each card is made the same way - card base, colored layer adhered with snail to base, stamped layer adhered with snail to colored layer and three gems added to the flowers on the tail.
I just love how they turned out - and they did bring a smile to my face.  Especially every time I stamped one of those itty bitty yellow flowers - they are soooooo cute.  They remind me of flowers I doodle in the 1970's days of Flower Power - lol.  They are just so sweet and tiny!

Yes - I'm a bit late with that wish - but today is the first day I am actually out of bed and sitting at the computer in 2018 - so it is a HAPPY day!  Although I don't know how long I will make before having to rest.  I have had the flu since December 28th and have not been out of bed at all except for necessities since then.  Yesterday I was so sick and could not breath well, so my daughter took me to Urgent Care to find out I also have pneumonia.  So here I am 24 hours of steroids and antibiotics later and was able to shower and sit up.  But I am wiped out.  And at such a bad time because - It's Sale-A-Bration 2018!!!

WE HAVE A WINNER - Cards and Coffee - Card #2

Congratulations to Watercolor Christmas Project kit winner - Daneke!  How exciting -  It makes a total of 20 cards and includes fun sequins and gold liners for your envelopes.  It will be perfect to get a head start on next years cards.  I have your address -so will be getting it out in the mail to you in the next few days!  (Sorry - I am a couple days late on this - as we have a crew down with the flu - one after another - now it's hubby and me!)
So today I'm going to share the second card from my November Cards and Coffee Class - It is such a pretty card - and has a neat Asian flare to it.  We used the Artistically Asian set and some of the beautiful DSP from the Easter Palace Suite.  
And of course we carried the theme through on the envelope - as I hate naked envelopes!
