ICS Blog Hop - April 2026 - Farewell 2024-2026 In-Colors

 

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for April 2026!  This month's we are sharing ideas that are all created using our outgoing In-colors.  These products are on the Last Chance list and only available while supplies last.    

My card this month, once again, features the new "A Rainbow of Thanks" set from the March 2026 release.

This card was made with five retiring In-Colors (Pretty In Pink, Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Peach Pie) in another bright and fun design; using the masking technique.

First I stamped the pink swirl on the front of the card and onto a post-it note making sure it was on the sticky part.  Then cut the post-it note image close and laid it on the card before stamping the strips of paint - this kept the circle open for my sentiment.

Then added the brushes and colored the handles with my Pecan Pie blends. After layering this onto my card front - I added a simple bow of Petunia Pop; and colored several rhinestone gems with the coordinating blends to add some sparkle.

I always like to pull a bit of the outside of the card into the inside - 

And of course - no "naked" envelopes -

It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!  Have you seen the new amazing In-color Glimmer paper?  Today's tutorial combines it with the Flowers of Beauty set to give us this amazing card.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

Flowers of Beauty In Color Glimmer Card

·       Card Stock and Paper:

Basic White (159276), Petunia Pop (163801), Pretty in Pink (163793), 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer (163771)

·       Stamp Pads:  Petunia Pop (163811), Pretty In Pink (163807), Shy Shamrock (163808), Summer Splash (163809)

·       Tools:  Bone Folder (102300); Paper Snips (103579), Paper Trimmer (152392), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots (163389), Silver & White ½” Sheer Ribbon (162149), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

Measurements:

·       Pretty In Pink Cardstock:  5 ½” x 8 ½”; score at 4 ¼” and fold to form card base.

·       Petunia Pop Cardstock:  3 ¾” x 5”

·       Basic White Cardstock 3 ½” x 4 ¾”, 3” x 3” for die cut flower & leaves, and 4” x 5 ¼” (for inside)

·       20204-2026 In Color Glimmer:  ¾” x 3 ¾” – 1 each of all 5 In Colors

·       Silver & White Sheer Ribbon:  approximately 11”

 Instructions:

1.    Cut each piece listed in the measurements above.

2.    Fold Pretty In Pink Cardstock in half to form card base.

3.    Adhere Petunia Pop Cardstock panel to the card front.

4.    Adhere Basic White Cardstock panel to the card front.

5.    Adhere each piece of 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer paper to the card front.

6.    Stamp sentiment onto the card front below the Glimmer paper using Petunia Pop ink.

7.    Stamp flower outline image onto Basic White Cardstock using Petunia Pop ink.  Stamp solid flower image overtop of the stamped flower outline using Pretty In Pink ink.

8.    Stamp leaves outline image onto the same piece of Basic White Cardstock using Shy Shamrock ink.  Stamp bold leaves image overtop of the leaves outline using Summer Splash ink.

9.    Die cut flower and leaves using Flowers of Beauty Dies.

10. Place a bit of Stampin’ Seal on the card front where you would like the ribbon to go.  Weave Ribbon back and forth over the adhesive and press into place.

11. Adhere die cut flower and leaves to the card front over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   

12. Embellish card front with 20204-2026 In Color Resin Dots.

13. Adhere Basic White cardstock layer to the inside of the card.

 2022-2024 In Color Club Details* (May-September 2022)

Each month’s packet contents – 1 pack of cardstock (24 sheets), 1 ink pad, 1 ink refill, 1 Stampin’ Write marker, 4 sheets of 6”x6” Glimmer Paper, 5 yards 1/8” Metallic Woven ribbon, 30 Ombre Matte Decorative Dots, eight 6”X6” DSP pieces and a hand stamped card from me featuring​ ​your In-Color color of the month. Colors each month will be assigned randomly - but, at end of five months you will have all five colors.

It’s like Christmas in your mailbox five months in a row and each month I’m including 2 yards coordinating Bakers Twine as my gift to you!

Blends Combo Pack Add-on Option – if you would like to also receive the coordinating Blends Alcohol Markers for your colors (this year in all five colors) you will be charged an additional $10.50 per month to cover the cost (total $52.50 per month) plus the above shipping if needed.  You must indicate blends add-on at the time of your signing up and must receive for all five months.

If you are local, we can forgo the shipping and do porch pick up (so your total due each month would be either $42 or $52.50 depending on the option you choose) – again, please let me know at time of sign-up if this is what you want to do.   I will bill you at the beginning of each month​ (first billing May 1)​ by email.  You can pay by Pay Pal Friends and Family; Venmo Friends; or you can send me a check each month.  As long as payment is received on time, your kit will be mailed around the 1​0​^th of each month (or you can pick up when available – I will notify you).  You will have all the coordinating products for your color of the month – so you’ll be able to start creating with it right away. 

At the end of FIVE months you’ll have it ALL! 

Note to join--you can sign up anytime now till May 2nd to have your kit ordered ​May 3, ​as soon as the new catalog goes live.  At that point you are committed to the five months – and will be billed as stated above for future months.  Sign-ups for this club end on May 31, 2022.

Foxy - cuteness!

I am in LOVE with this new set "Foxy Friends" from Stampin Up!  It comes alone, or in a bundle with the Fox Builder Punch.  Either way - you can make some adorable projects with it.  Here's a card I submitted for a color challenge with my upline.  It uses a couple of our brand new in-colors, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo.  Also, the sentiment is from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit!

Personal Post Monday .... Giving thanks and the end of a SPECIAL!

Just have to say thank you to those who gave their lives for my freedoms!  I was watching a video this morning that showed how many of our men and women died in different wars and it brought tears to my eyes.  Such a fallen world we live in.  We owe such a debt of gratitude for their fighting on our behalf!  Thank you, thank you....I pray I never take that sacrifice lightly!

I just love the flower beds we have around our home.  I've been picking fresh bouquets for a couple weeks now - but this week I was able to pick my first two peonies!  Aren't they beautiful.  My Mom used to have peony bushes and I loved them, and now I have some.  My grand-daughter didn't even think they were real, they looked so perfect!

Here's they are just before I packaged them up to mail them out.  Can't wait to get the other 9 designs back from the others in the swap - I'll be sure to share them all.

In Color Sampler

At our last downline meeting we made these great in-color samplers - these are a great tool for the demonstrators to use at workshops to highlight these amazing colors, as well as how the ribbon, ink and cardstock all coordinates so perfectly.
