Farewell and a Sneak Peek!!

Hi All - It's May 28th - that means only a few days before the launch of the NEW SU! catalog year!  But it also means only a few days to still get some goodies from the current catalog.  You can go to my website SHOP HERE then click on SHOP NOW and you can see the current goodies as well as what is retiring.
Things are going fast - but there are still discounted items available.  But as of June 1 - everything on the retired list will be GONE!!!  So here's a bonus offer - ORDER from me ONLINE at my website above by May 31 at NOON - use the May Hostess code JH3TKVSD -  and order at least $50 pre S&H and Tax!!  Do that and I will mail you an In-Color Ribbon share FREE the second week of June!  That's 2 yards each of the 5 new In-colors - and believe me they are terrific!!  You can see the colors in the bookmark shown at the bottom of this page.  What are you waiting for - click the SHOP HERE above and get some great stamping products - all available products count toward this special - not just the retiring items.  But I'm offering this ONLY till Noon on May 31st!!
*~*~*~*~*
Also, I want to give you a sneak peek of one of the great new sets in the catalog, "Perfectly Wrapped" (you'll also see some of the new In-color ribbon and several of our new colors- all except Flirty Flamingo).  This is a card I a made for a new catalog swap - and I love the way it turned out.  The background images are Tone on Tone using Peekaboo Peach, and the photopolymer stamps make it so easy to line up the words inside that circle.  It was actually stamped three different times to get the three different colors and looks great!!!
Here's they are just before I packaged them up to mail them out.  Can't wait to get the other 9 designs back from the others in the swap - I'll be sure to share them all.
Still need a catalog - well let me know.  The catalogs are FREE - I only charge $6.50 for shipping if you need it mailed to you.  If you can pick up - then NO CHARGE at all!!  And each catalog will include an In-Color Bookmark!
Here's the bookmark (ribbon colors and punch design will vary) and it's perfect for marking the page of a stamp you NEED or a design you HAVE to make.  Let me know if you'd like one and I'll make it happen!
See you soon - ta, ta for now!  ~Maureen

In Color Bookmark

One of the projects at our Open House was an In-color bookmark to keep in their catalogs.  We used the Art of Watercolor set and the five new In-colors to make it.  This set is amazing - we actually had customers asking where the brush was so they could make the swooshes - it really give the watercolor look to your project.
Customers got a chance to make them at one of our three make and take stations.
Sandy and Joanie stamping and chatting!
Here are a bunch of them made up - my customers who didn't make the Open House will get them as a thank you in their orders this month.
Stop back for more of our Open House pictures and product.  ~Maureen

Collage - bookmark

Here's the beautiful bookmark we made at Club using last month's technique - collage.  This project used one of my favorite Stampin' Up! nature sets "Nature Walk."  We softened the look by using lighter colors - Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery and Perfect PlumThe bird is stamped, colored, cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  Added a lace trim ruffled along the bottom and a tassle at the top.
This bookmark (the perfect size to tuck into a card) would also make a lovely gift tag on a gifr for a special friend.  Thanks for stopping by.  ~Maureen

April Stamp Club

Last Friday was our April Club - what a great group of ladies - our group grew by two for this next year - and I'm looking forward to lots of FUN!  Our group is a technique club and each month we learn a different technique.  This month it was two-step stamping - as so many great two-step stamp sets are being retired.
Here's our 6x6" technique card for their binders - using the "Raining Flowers" set.
This is the greeting card we made using the "Flower Fancy" set - one of my favorites!!!  The verse is from "Kindness Matters".
Finally - we made this little corner bookmark using the "Flight of the Butterfly" set.  I love these simple bookmarks - they work so well to hold your page!
Thanks Ladies for a great Friday night of stamping!  See you soon!  ~Maureen
