This week Paisley's 5th grade class did a project on influential people. Paisley picked Mother Teresa. Here she is dressed as Mother Teresa in the hallway at school with the poster she made above her. As parents came down the hall and touched her hand she had to lift her head and do a short speech. Wish I could have been there.
But Jenee sent me these pictures and I think she looks great!! They are home today for a visit, so hopefully she'll do her speech for me today :)
Love this kiddo!! Love, Gramma

Talent Show
A few weeks ago my grand-daughter Paisley performed in her school's talent show - she danced first but I couldn't get up close enough for a picture - even though she did an amazing job! But then she sang -
Here she is with her best friend Mari as they did a duet.
And here they are afterward -
I was so very proud of her. She did an amazing job - and didn't seem a bit nervous. Was so fun to watch her and see her growing up. Love you Paisley!!

First Day of School cuties -
Finally getting around to sharing First Day of School pictures. So crazy seeing my grandbabies growing up sooooo very fast. Here are Prince and Paisley - all set in their new clothes with their new backpacks. Paisley is in 3rd grade and Prince in 1st - amazing!!
Next I have a picture of Kamili and Makai - also looking adorable in their new clothes and back packs. Kamili is off to Kindergarten and Makai to her first day of Preschool.
Can this even be possible? I'm still getting over the trauma of my daughters heading off to school and that was 27 years ago :) Praying for these little ones as they grow and learn - may God guide their little lives. I love them so.

End of the School Year celebrations -
It's that time of year again - last week all my grand-kids schools ended for the summer and that meant celebrations of many types. Paisley's class did an end of the year play/dance about the weather. Here she is in her WIND costume - she did such a great job!
Then Prince got an end of the year award for Academic Progress - here he is proudly displaying his award certificate - way to go Prince!!
And finally Kamili's pre-school class had an end of the year open house and fund-raiser. Here Kamili is with her pre-school teacher.
Such a fun week of celebrations - next year Makai enters pre-school - so that will mean one more celebration :)

1st Day of School
School started last week and I had the privilege of going to see Paisley and Prince off on their first day and get some pictures. Here they both are showing off the new clothes they picked for their first day - they're all smiles - hope that lasts all year :)
Here's Paisley, our 2nd grader, posing like the silouette on the wall. She looked so pretty.
And here's our handsome Prince, going into Kindergarten, in his cool Mario Brothers shirt.
Finally - they both had to show of their great new backpacks - Paisley's is Hello Kitty and Prince's is Buzz Lightyear - how fun!
