Let Freedom Ring!

I stay away from politics on this blog - but today I want to wish you a Happy Independence Day!  We are so blessed to live in this country - enjoying the abundance we have.  But right now is a very tough time in the lives of many due to the tough times with our economy.  One of the freedoms we enjoy is to be able to vote for those we want in leadership in our country.  I just want to encourage all of you to learn, research and check out the candidates who will be running for office this year - and exercise your right to vote this fall for those you think will be able to lead us best in the coming years!!  For today - enjoy your day - your picnics - your parties and time with family and friends - and stay safe!!  Thanks for dropping by! ~Maureen

4th of JULY!

On the fourth we had a wonderful backyard BBQ and watched fireworks from Aaron and Heidi's backyard. Here Aaron and his Mom are keeping a close watch on the grill.

Kai and Kamili are swinging - People are cooling off in the pool (it was toasty out) - The Joneses (or most of them) enjoying the swing set - Heidi, Zav and Makai - getting ready for the fireworks.

What a fun day - good food, good company, lovely fireworks - and living in America - WE ARE SO BLESSED!!

Missing In Action and Happy 4th!!

Oh where or where have I been - I can't believe I haven't posted since last Monday. It has been a crazy week - hubby and I went to Prescott, AZ for a 5 day trip to celebrate out 34th wedding anniversary. It was so lovely, and I'll post some pictures soon. Then we came home to a boatload of work at work; the beginning of the new catalog year; getting ready for Saturday's downline meeting and getting ready for a 4th of July BBQ at Heidi's this afternoon. Needless to say I just couldn't keep up.

So I'll leave you today with this wish for the 4th and hopefully tomorrow - blogging will be back to normal :) Be safe out there on the roads this weekend!
