Hostess Journal Gifts

So for this past round of Club Hostesses in my two clubs - I made monogrammed, decorated composition books with matching pens, when it was their month to hostess.  I love doing these - and they are a big seller at my vendor events.  I do the books with matching RSVP pens - by inserted a piece of the matching DSP into the pen around the ink tube.

Today - I am sharing four different ones - each month is different.  And I LOVE each of them.  This is a great way to use up some discontinued DSP - and make yourself a journal or notebook.

I choose a couple of coordinating layers to mount their initial on, and bling it up with some flowers and gems or pearls.

I also do the inside of the back and front covers with coordinating DSP - usually from the same packet - add a little ribbon and Voila!

My next round of one club just began and the second club will start their second round in a couple months.  This time I have another great gift for them their hostess month- and will be sharing that soon.  In the meantime - make something beautiful!! ~Maureen

October Hostess Gift

So today I'm sharing my hostess gift for October.  This Monogrammed covered composition book and matching pen.  I love making these, and they are a great seller at my craft fairs.

I think I'm addicted to notebooks - just love them.  And once they are all pretty - well - who could resist!!

September Club Hostess Gift

We had such fun at our September Club - and Nancy was an amazing hostess.  She took great care of us.  Here is the Hostess Gift I gave to her for hosting - it's an altered comp book and pen.  In the picture the square with the "N" looks crooked to me - but it was not.  Guess it's just the way the book is standing open - lol!

Here a close-up of the monogram with a few cute little flowers added.  I used the DSP from Sale-a-bration 2016 - it is beautiful paper.

Here you can see how I finished the inside front and back covers with a different design from the same set of DSP.  I've been selling these comp books and pen sets for $10 at craft fairs and special orders and they have been a hit!
