Snowflake Tags.....
Today I'm sharing the cute little snowflake tags we made at my December Wine and Design class at Prescott Winery. It was so much fun - had some of my regulars there and a few newbies. Since it was so close to Christmas I opted for these, as they could still use them on their gifts.
They are so cute and easy, no time at all to make up a bunch!
You can see in the picture below, that we popped up the snowflakes on dimensionals - this gave the tags a little character.

It's a FIESTA!!!
How cute is this little Llama - talk about bringing a smile to your face. I just love him!!! This card was made with out "Birthday Fiesta" set and matching "Fiesta Time" framelits. The beautiful design on the background layer is made with Festive embossing folder.
The blanket on the back of the Llama is made with the paper piecing technique.
It all comes together to make an adorable and fun birthday card!! ~Maureen

Love the Colors of Fall!
So I'm going through my pictures folder and I came across several pictures of cards that I don't think I ever posted. So I think I'm going to do so over the next few days. Most of our Christmas decorations are down, and the tree comes down tomorrow - so the house is looking a little drab. Then I saw this picture that took me right back to all the beautiful fall colors we had - and I had to smile

Buffett Sessions: 8:30AM – Noon or 1:00 – 4:30PM – please indicate which
session you plan to attend.
**Products
notice: Expired products may be used for these Card Buffet events - discuss
with your demonstrator if you'd like suggestions on current product
substitutions. Must be 16 years or older to attend this event, unless
other accommodations have been pre-arranged.
Cost: $10 plus $2 for each card you choose to complete – make as many or as
few as you wish. There will be at least
8 designs to choose from including 1 Christmas design.**
Everything
is prepped and all materials included to complete your cards. Plus there will be light refreshments and
doorprize drawings.
All PROFITS will go to the Ronald McDonald
Charities house in Phoenix. This is a
great cause that allows families to be near their children who are being
treated for ongoing illnesses and diseases.
You can find out more about what they do at their website – www.rmhc.org. So please invite friends in the community to
join us for this special event. You’ll
get an extra drawing in the Doorprize basket for every friend you bring.
No
additional purchase necessary, although I will have catalogs and specials available
that day. My profit from any sales at
the event, will also be donated.

Wine and Design Gift Card Holder
So I've been fortunate enough to be invited to do a couple classes at the Prescott Winery - a little local wine tasting room. We did two weeks of an evening Wine and Design class - where we made cute little items and the ladies enjoyed a glass of wine with their tickets. It has been so much fun - so will be doing a class a month there in the New Year!!
The ladies got to choose from several different paper designs -
The holder is kept together by this cute little belly band featuring Rudolph wishing them a Merry Christmas!
Just slide it off to open the holder and reveal the gift card -
Really a nice presentation - the card holder can be adapted for any reason - any season!!
INSTRUCTIONS: So - you start with a 6" x 5 1/4" piece of DSP (designer series paper) - I love Stampin' Ups! as it is designed on both sides with a coordinating pattern.
Score on the long side at 1 1/4" and 3 3/4"; turn and score on the short side at 3/4"and 4 1/2". Cut out all the solid and scored sections - you can use a circle punch and corner rounder to do the curved areas. Fold in the two side flaps, and adhere about half way up with good adhesive, then fold the 2 1/4" up over the folded in flaps and stick together. To make the belly band use a 1"x6" piece of cardstock and fold around the gift card holder and adhere. Decorate however you like. ~Maureen
