Alaskan Cruise Day 3
So the adventure continues - after breakfast we walked around the ship a bit. Here is a picture of the promenade level featuring cafe's and shopping - plus some bands, etc. at night time.
The lights were pretty constantly changing color which just made it seem more festive.
We stopped down at Base Camp where each day we could spin for a prize (I'll show you all those in a future post). But we were also encouraged to make a sign of one thing Stampin' Up! has allowed us to do. I had to put friends - because even though I get great gifts, and earn wonderful trips - it's the day to day stamping with new (and old) creative friends that keeps me staying with the company!

And here is a picture of their sky tram in town - and no I did not ride it - I have a fear of heights. But I can imagine the views were spectacular.
Here's downtown where we perused the shops, had some coffee and walked around just enjoying the beauty of the area.
At night we stopped by one of the lounges to hear a group from the Philippines doing some great country music.
Finally - back to our rooms - and back to this wonderful Merry Christmas to all bundle as a pillow gift for Day 3.

Club Birdie Treat Holders
Adorable birdie candy/treat holders. So I cased these - completely - from Susan Canfield. Thank you to those who let me know who the original poster was - you can check out her blog link HERE. I rarely CASE exactly - and really do want to give credit where credit is due. They are just so stinkin' cute!
We made these at my clubs in July. They were made using the petite treat framelits from the current SU annual catalog. These framelits allow you to insert different tops pieces into your frame to get a different style - this we a double arch, there is a single arch and a flat straight piece as well as some cute little lacy scallop trim pieces. I also used our leaf punch, Blossom Builder punch, 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch circle punches. The final product can be these cute "sour cream" type treat holders -
Or - these flat treat holders - you can slip your treat into the open top and leave it open, like the red one above - or you could choose to seal it shut. I LOVE THEM!!!

Alaskan Cruise Day 2
Day 2 - Saturday, July 21
So I should have shared this on Day 1 but forgot - each of us got this beautiful, magnetic picture frame keepsake on our doors when we arrived at our cabins - what a special welcome from Stampin' Up!
And here is our bathroom - also forgot to share yesterday. It was actually really nice and spacious for being part of a room on a ship. Met our needs nicely! And our wonderful steward, Rolly, kept it spic and span at all times. If only I could have taken him home with us :)
So we got a great night's sleep and at some point on Day 2 I took this picture - but for the life of me can't remember when - as most of the day was just open seas. We did sit out on our deck for a bit and were lucky enough to see a pod of whales breeching - there must have been about 8 of them. But I didn't get any pictures.
We turned the cabin TV on and lookie what we found - an entire channel devoted to Stampin' Up! videos - this played around the clock as far as I can tell. My table guests at dinner were talking about it, and even the guy I sat next to on the plane ride home was asking me all about Stampin' Up! because he had seen this on the cruise. How cool is that!
This was the only day that we actually had a general session with the catalog reveal, demonstrations and giveaways. They also announced the trip we'll be able to earn Oct. 1, 2018 - Sept 30, 2019. Those who earn it will be going to Maui in 2020 - and it will be a land trip at a resort! Woo Hoo - I'll start working on it, as soon as I earn the Greek Isles trip for this year lol!
After general session they posted some of the great samples from the General Session demonstrations.

Of course there were giveaways - I wasn't lucky enough to win Prize Patrol - but I'm not complaining as everyone walked away with a haul.
Even our guests got a prize - Paul loves it and has been using it every day for his ice water.
Here are the goodies we received at the General Session.
The food on the trip was amazing. I'll share more in future days - but we rarely eat dessert at home - but could not resist the dinner desserts on the ship. Here we shared a cheese and fruit platter, and some key lime pie.
We also took in several of the shows. You can never be bored, as there was always something going on.
Finally, when we got back to our cabin after a long day of fun - look what was waiting for me!!! Be still my heart - I LOVE that purse, and they threw in DSP to boot. Plus this adorable little elephant was waiting to bring a smile to our faces.
Then it was off to dreamland with the rocking of the ship. I'll post some stamping next time, then another day of our cruise - so stop back soon! ~Maureen

Card Kits are AMAZING!
These are cards made from the Notes of Kindness Card Kit on page 7 of our Annual Catalog - and they are soooo beautiful. The picture just does not do them justice. I did a class a couple months ago with this kit and it was really successful - so I'm going to be doing another in August. Alaskan Cruise Day 1
Thank you - to Stampin' Up!, my great TEAM, and my amazing customers - you made this possible. Paul and I were on the Alaskan Cruise incentive trip the end of July and it was so amazing. Over the next week or so I'm going to be sharing pictures to document our time - and to just share the blessings we had. I promise to show you some cards and stamping in between the days - promise!
Day 1 - Friday July 20th - we were in Seattle, and boarded our ship around 10:30 AM just in time to have lunch aboard. This was our view from the pier.
That is one big SHIP!
Right before we got on the Explorer of the Seas.
Here's the inside of our cabin looking toward the balcony. Everyone from Stampin' Up! who earned the cruise had a balcony cabin and it was just amazing.

As we pulled out from Seattle a little was down the Straight of Juan de Fuca - we could see Port Angeles - the town that years ago we thought we would retire to.
Stampin' Up! welcomed us with a fun and entertaining mix and mingle event that very first night on board.
And when we got back to our ship we had our first pillow gifts - this amazing fleece jacket (it is so warm) - and an embossing folder. I can't believe I didn't take it out to get a better picture - and now I can't remember which one it was. I am pretty sure it is the cute Swirls and Curls from the Holiday catalog -hope that's right.
We were so exhausted by this point we just fell sound asleep - had to be up and awake for Cruise Day 2! See you soon! ~Maureen
