Monday Funday - Sketch challenge and contest!

So - lots of time on my hand and I always wanted to do a sketch challenge with my customers - so today is the day.  I came across this sketch and thought there is no time like the present - Plus it will hopefully inspire you to do some creations in your free time.
Challenge #1 - I included the original blog address - as I don't want to steal it -just use it - so feel free to check out her blog.  If I do this in the future, I may make up my own or borrow from another - but will always give credit where it is due.  So here is the deal - my challenge to you is to make a card with this sketch.  It does not have to use Stampin' Up! products - although I would LOVE that.  You can do it horizontal like this one - or turn it vertical.  You can use your imagination - this is just a sketch guideline.  But you need to go to my facebook page search Crazy Stamping Lady - like the page and post your picture of your card in the comments of the Challenge #1 Post.

Here's my card I made with the layout to give you some inspiration - cute and simple - fussy cut my birds out of the Bird Ballad DSP - and the pink polka dot layers are also from the DSP.
Challenge #1 - Sketch challenge - my sample.
Now let's see what you can come up with - all entries posted to my Facebook page as stated above by Noon on Sunday, March 29, 2020 will be entered in a drawing for a FREE packages of Stampin' Up! dimensionals.  You can enter as often as you like - as long as each card is unique.  I'll draw at Noon and mail out your prize to you as soon as we connect and I get your address.  Watch my Facebook page for the winner to be announced.  Looking forward to seeing all your creations!  ~Maureen

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Hi All - My very first entry in a mojomonday challenge and it was so much fun!
http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/
I made this card below using the sketch challenge above for my Clean and Cute Stamp Camp last night and the ladies loved it. We used the small oval punch and the bird punch to make the pumpkin.
I had already had in mind I wanted to do a card with this cute little pumpkin - and when I saw the sketch layout I thought it would be the perfect focal point for the card. Then I wanted to get some texture and dimension to the card - so a run through the Big Shot, some splatters, some frayed burlap ribbon and VOILA!  Even though I wanted a Fall card - we've done a ton of Thanksgiving already - so I went with a more generic saying that could be used for many occasions.
The stem of the pumpkin is made with the bird wing, and the branch from the same punch is just curled around a skewer for the tendril and attached with a glue dot. The pumpkin itself is sponged around with Cajun Craze and that little bit of color really gives the pumpkin a lot of depth.
Like I said - this was a fun card to create and I hope you like it.  Please leave a note and let me know what you think, and stop back soon.  Stampingly, Maureen
