Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Designer Series Spotlight - July 2020

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you this month - all spotlighting Designer Series Paper!

So - if you know Stampin' Up! at all, you know that their Designer Series Paper (DSP) is nothing short of amazing.  Every catalog that comes out seems to out do the last in this area - so I was so excited to focus on it this month.  I really just wanted to show how you can make DSP the star of your creations, and yet have some versatility with it.

For my samples I focused on using the Flowers for Every Season DSP to create three very different layouts - but eacg beautiful in their own way.  Each card uses a wonderful image from the DSP - that becomes a focal point per say, because really all that is added to them for the most part is some layers of cardstock; a simple embellishment - and a sentiment of your choice

What I really love is just the beauty of the DSP - each design is lovelier than the last.  And flowers are so versatile - these cards could be for birthdays, anniversaries, friendship, congratulations - or just a simple "hi" - the possibilities are endless!  All of these sentiments come from the Lovely You stamp set.  My biggest challenge in making these, is deciding which side of the DSP I want to use on my projects.
