Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Soft Seedlings!

It's Sunday time to share another great card and free tutorial! Sorry I missed last week - we were traveling and it completely slipped my mind. But while in Tennessee and West Virginia we so saw many beautiful fall leaves. So I really wanted to share a bit of that beauty with you - and Soft Seedlings is the perfect way! Enjoy!

Soft Seedlings

Supplies:

· Stamp Sets: Soft Seedlings (159905)

· Card Stock and Paper: Very Vanilla Card Stock (101650); Cajun Craze Card Stock (119684); Mossy Meadow Card Stock (133676)

· Stamp Pads: Cajun Craze Ink (147085)

· Miscellaneous: Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (111111); Sponge Dauber (xxxxxx); Linen Thread ( ); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write marker; Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write marker; Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write marker; Soft Suede Stampin’ Write marker

Measurements:

· Very Vanilla Card Stock: Base 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”; Layer for leaf 3 ½” x 4 ¼”; Sentiment layer ¾” x 3”

· Mossy Meadow Card Stock: 1” x 4 ¼”

· Cajun Craze Card Stock: 2” x 5 ½”

· Linen Thread 10”

Instructions:

1. Place your Cajun Craze strip onto the front of your card centered vertically; and your Mossy Meadow strip onto the front of your card 1 ¼” up from the bottom horizontally.

2. Using your markers – color directly onto the leaf image rubber stamp, with all four colors in varying parts of the leaf, seed pods and stem. Then use a dauber to gently pat over the entire stamp and blend the colors. Using your hot breath, huff onto the stamp to remoisten ink, then stamp image onto the larger Very Vanilla layer with the top of the stem centered at the top of the layer. Use the ink left on your dauber to gently sponge ink around the sides of this layer – and add to your card front with dimensionals.

3. Stamp “Thinking of you” on the sentiment layer to the right side, use the same dauber and sponge lightly around the edges. Wrap your linen thread several times around the left side of the layer and tie in a knot and trim. Add this to the front of the card offset to the right with dimensionals.

4. Add Champagne gems to the front of the card as desired.

5. Complete inside of card and envelope as desired.

Measurements:

· Early Espresso card base: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” and burnished with the Bone Folder, 3” x 4-1/4”

· Basic White: 3” x 2-1/2”, 4” x 2”

· Cajun Craze: 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”, 2-1/4” x 3-1/2”

· Mossy Meadow: scraps

· Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”, 2-3/8” x 3-5/8”

· Ribbon: two strands 4”

Instructions:

1. Die cut pumpkin from Cajun Craze and two pumpkin vines from Mossy Meadow.

2. Stamp flower spray with Memento ink then color in with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut.

3. Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso and die cut.

4. Adhere large DSP to card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhere small DSP to Cajun Craze and that piece to Early Espesso.

5. With Tear & Tape on back of Early Espresso piece, adhere two strands of ribbon.

6. With Multipurpose Liquid Glue attach flower spray to top of pumpkin then vines.

7. With Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere small Early Espresso to card front then pumpkin on top of that then sentiment on top of pumpkin.

8. Add Amber Gems to center of three flowers.

Measurements:

· Card Stock 1 Card Base: Thick Basic White- 11” x 4 ¼”

· Card Stock 2: Basic White- 2 ¾” x 3 ¾”

· Card Stock 3: Crumb Cake- 2 ½” x 3 ½”

· Card Stock 4: Soft Sea Foam- scrap

· Card Stock 5: Soft Succulent- 4” x 2 ½” approx.

· DSP: Splendid Day- 5 ¼” x 4”

· Snowy White Velvet Sheet- 3” x 3”

Instructions:

1. Score card base on the long side at 4 ¼” and fold.

2. Adhere the Splendid Day DSP to the card front using Stampin’ SEAL adhesive.

3. Stamp the leaf image from the stamp set on the Crumb Cake layer using Versa Mark ink. Then, attach to the Basic White card stock layer #2. Add that to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4. Die-cut the two-piece pumpkin shape from the Snowy White Velvet Sheet.

5. Stamp your sentiment using Versa Mark on the Soft Succulent card stock. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat emboss. Then, die cut the banner sentiment and die cut a stem from Soft Succulent card stock.

6. Put your pumpkin together using liquid glue and attach to the card front.

7. Add your sentiment to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8. Die-cut a vine using Soft Sea Foam card stock and add to the pumpkin using liquid glue.

9. Lastly, add a bow to the pumpkin using a mini glue dot.
