·       Stamp Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708); Crumb Cake (147116)

·       Tools: Scalloped Contours Dies (155560); Paper Snips Scissors (103579)

·       Miscellaneous: Linen Thread (104199); Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (151193); Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack – Basic Black (154843); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (152813); Bone Folder (102300); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

 Measurements:

·       Thick Basic White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 ¼”

·       Basic White: 3 ¼” x 5 ¼”, 1” x 3”

·       Crumb Cake: 1” x 5 ¼”

·       Rustic Harvest DSP: 1 ¼” x 5 ¼”

·       Linen Thread: 9” – cut 2

 Instructions:

 1.    Fold Thick Basic White card base on score line, burnish with Bone Folder.

2.    Die cut the scallop shape with the Crumb Cake Card Stock. 

3.    Attach DSP to the front panel of card with Multipurpose Liquid glue, positioning as shown in photo.  Adhere Crumb Cake scalloped die to DSP.

4.    Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp the large leaf image onto  the 3 ¼” x 5” Basic White panel.

5.    Create splotches on stamped image with dark Basic Black Blend & Bone folder.

6.    Attach Leaf panel to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Stamp words with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto 1” x 3” Basic White panel. Use Paper Snips to angle right end.

8.    Tie a bow with two pieces of Linen Thread and adhere to card with Glue Dots.

9.    Position word panel over bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

10. Embellish with Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

SF-2022 August Blog Hop - All About the Paper!

This month our projects are focusing on the amazing papers Stampin' Up! has to offer you - I wanted to make something fun - that featured a few DSP paper designs - so look at this cute set -

I love the new Texture Chic DSP - it is beautiful colors and patterns and splashes of gold.

So I decided to showcase it by using the patterns in fun ways.  The card is made of 1 1/4" squares places in a fun diagonal pattern.

Then added a great sentiment, gilded and gemmed dragonfly - and even a few squares to my envelope. 

Then for my 3D project I started with a cute little notebook from the Dollar store (they come in a pack of three).

I wrapped a piece of Vanilla cardstock on the front, top and down a 1/4" on the back - using extra sticky Tear and Tape to hold it.

Then finished decorating the front with similar layers and 1" x 2 3/4" strip of the Designer Series paper and added my initial inside a diamond shape, using the Alphabest Stamp Set.

I just love how it turned out, and who can resist another notepad - right?!?

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Painted Pheasant

 

 It's Sunday!  So I associate this time of year with fall - maybe not officially - but it's coming and that makes me so happy.   I associate pheasants with fall also, not sure why but they certainly are fall colors.  This is such a nice way to send your Thanksgiving wishes to family and friends.  Enjoy this beautiful card!

 1.    With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach the Basic White panels to front and inside of Crumb Cake card base.

2.    Adhere the two strips of DSP to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Use Soft Suede ink to stamp the pheasant and words onto Basic White. 

4.    Use Stampin’ Blends to color the pheasant. 

5.    Fussy cut the pheasant with Paper Snip Scissors, and position to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.    Use Paper Snip Scissors to angle the right side of the word panel and the strip of Mossy Meadow.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to secure – offset slightly.    

7.    Wrap a length of Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around this panel and tie in a knot. 

8.    Attach word panel to the card front with Dimensionals. 

Embellish with Brushed Metallic Dots.
