It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial! Today I'm sharing beautiful card using the Bottled Happiness set from the Annual catalog.  This is such a versatile set, and I am glad it will be continuing.  Great card for any occasion.  Hope you like it!  Enjoy!

·       Stamp Sets: Bottled Happiness (158684)

·       Cardstock and Paper: Thick Basic White (159229): Coastal Cabana (131297); Basic Black (121045)

·       Stamp Pads: Crushed Curry (147087); Old Olive (147090); Coastal Cabana (147097); VersaMark (102283)

·       Tools: Radiating Stitches Dies (161595); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Heat Tool (129053); Paper Snips (103579)

·       Miscellaneous: Basics Stampin; Emboss Powders (155554); Dimensionals (104430); Black & White ¼” Gingham Ribbon (156485); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

 Measurements:

 ·       Thick Basic White: 8 1/2” x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”;  3” x  4 ¼”

·       Coastal Cabana: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”

·       Basic Black: 1 ¼” x 2 ½”, scrap sentiment

·       Black & White Gingham Ribbon: 2”

 Instructions:

 1.    Cut the largest rectangle using the Radiating Stitches Dies and Coastal Cabana cardstock.  Attach to Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

2.    Cut the second largest rectangle using the Radiating Stitches Dies and Thick Basic White cardstock.

3.    Using the Bottled Happiness stamp set and white rectangle stamp the flower bouquet with Crushed Curry Ink.  Line up the leaves over the bouquet and stamp using Old Olive ink. Stamp the bottle using Coastal Cabana ink. Attach to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.    Cut ends of ribbon and slip under stamped image and attach using a Mini Glue Dot.

5.    Stamp sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock with VersaMark ink. Cover with white embossing powder and heat emboss with Heat Tool.  Fussy cut around it using Paper Snips and attach to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Painted Pheasant

 

 It's Sunday!  So I associate this time of year with fall - maybe not officially - but it's coming and that makes me so happy.   I associate pheasants with fall also, not sure why but they certainly are fall colors.  This is such a nice way to send your Thanksgiving wishes to family and friends.  Enjoy this beautiful card!

·       Stamp Sets: Painted Pheasant (159846)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Crumb Cake (120953); Mossy Meadow (133676); Basic White (159276); Rustic Harvest 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (159633)

·       Stamp Pads: Soft Suede (147115)

·       Tools: Paper Snip Scissors (103579)

·       Miscellaneous: Brushed Metallic Dots (156506); Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (154882); Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (155521); Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (154958); Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (154883); Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

 Measurements:

·       Crumb Cake: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”

·       Basic White: 4” x 5 1/4" – cut 2; 5/8” x 2 3/4"; 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"

·       Mossy Meadow: 5/8” x 2 3/4"

·       DSP: 1” x 4”; 2” x 4”

·       Ribbon: approximately 10” length

 Instructions:

 1.    With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach the Basic White panels to front and inside of Crumb Cake card base.

2.    Adhere the two strips of DSP to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Use Soft Suede ink to stamp the pheasant and words onto Basic White. 

4.    Use Stampin’ Blends to color the pheasant. 

5.    Fussy cut the pheasant with Paper Snip Scissors, and position to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.    Use Paper Snip Scissors to angle the right side of the word panel and the strip of Mossy Meadow.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to secure – offset slightly.    

7.    Wrap a length of Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around this panel and tie in a knot. 

8.    Attach word panel to the card front with Dimensionals. 

Embellish with Brushed Metallic Dots.

Measurements:

 ·       Starry Sky: 4 ¼” x 11”,  scored at 5 ½”

·       Pool Party: 3 ¼” x 4 ½”

·       Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼” (inside); 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” (images); 3 1/8” x 4 ½” (matting)

·       Ribbon: 6” (front); 5” (inside)

Instructions:

 1.    Fold card base in half at score line.  Place front of card base in Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and emboss using Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

2.    Die cut 3 ¼” x 4 ½” Pool Party piece using 3” x 4 3/8” Stitched Rectangle die.

3.    Using VersaMark ink, randomly stamp “I’m Blown Away by You!” on the Pool Party die cut.

4.    Wrap Metallic Mesh ribbon around left side of Pool Party die cut and attach to 3 1/8” x 4 ½” Basic White piece.

5.    Attach Basic White/Pool Party piece to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.    Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp fan and two corgis on the 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece.

7.    Using dark Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends marker, color the “flags” on the fan.

8.    For steps 9–11, first squeeze ink pads between the palms of your hands to transfer from ink to the lid of the ink pads.

9.    Using Water Painter and Smokey Slate ink, color fan – darker on the fan base and lighter on the screen portion.

10. Using Water Painter and Polished Pink ink, color corgis’ tongues.

11. Using Water Painter and Cajun Craze ink, color corgis making sure the ink is pretty watery so coloring is on the light side.

12. Using Water Painter and Crumb Cake ink, color corgis again making sure the ink is pretty watery so coloring is on the light side.  The combination of the two colors will give a more natural look for a corgi.

13. Fussy cut fan and corgis.

14. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, attach fan to card front.

15. Take one mini wobble and attach to back of one corgi and attach to front of card.  To create wobble effect, flick one ear of the corgi!

16. Inside of card:  Wrap 5” piece of Metallic Mesh ribbon around the bottom of the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White piece.  Attach to inside of card.

17. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach second corgi to bottom right.
