It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!   Still up in Wisconsin on vacation - and loving all the color!

  So getting pretty excited about Halloween coming - and hope to have some trick or treaters at our new place this year.  So in that "spirit" sharing an adorable project using Bag of Bones!

·       Tools: Radiating Stitches Die (161595), Alphabet A La Mode dies (160750), Tricks and Treats Dies (162225), Bone Folder (102300); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Tear and Tape Adhesive (154031), Heat Tool (129053)

 ·       Them Bones Pumpkin Pie DSP ½ sheet

·       Smoky Slate ¼ sheet

·       Copper Clay ¼  inches

·       Pumpkin Pie ¼ sheet

·       Crushed Curry 3 X 3 inch square

·       Very Vanilla 2 X 2 inch square

·       Black 4 X 4 inch square

·       Checked ribbon: 12 inches cut in half

 Instructions:

 1.    Die cut 2 panels to create the gift bag using the Tricks and Treats bag die; assemble bag with Tear and Tape adhesive.

2.    Die cut the tombstone from Bag of Bones in Smoky Slate.  Use a blending brush and Pebbled Path to age the edges of the tombstone.

3.    Die cut the fence from Copper Clay.  Use Pebbled Path and a blender brush to give the fence an aged look.

4.    Stamp the skeleton on Pumpkin Pie cardstock with Versamark and use the heat tool to set the black embossing powder. Die cut the skeleton.

5.    Stamp the “BOO to you!” sentiment on Crushed Curry with Versamark and emboss in black.  Die cut the small radiating stitches circle and use Pebbled Path and a blender brush to give definition to the circle.  Use a small hole punch to affix tag to the ribbon.

6.    Die cut two sets of “3” and “1” from the Alphabet A La Mode dies in black . Adhere the two sets together.

7.    Die cut the bones from Bag of Bones in Very Vanilla and age with Pebbled Path and a blender brush.

8.    Die cut the small bats from Bag of Bones in black.

9.    Adhere the fence slightly askew and extending slightly past the front with glue.  Adhere the tombstone with glue.  Adhere the skeleton with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the bones at the bottom of the fence with glue.  Adhere the “31” to the front of the card as shown.  Adhere the bats as shown.

10. Attach the ribbon to make two handles.  Use the Paper Snips to trim the edges of the ribbon.

11. Fill with treats or a gift and use tissue paper (optional).

Wow - this bundle is right up my alley! I LOVE fall - it is my very favorite season of the year - and this bundle really spoke to me. I really like the set - but it's the dies that called my name - all those little leaves and some great sentiment layers - who could resist.

So I CASE'd a beautiful card made with this set by a fellow stamping friend -

And just changed up the colors to create this beauty - 

I think they are equally as beautiful - and plan to make some more!  From the new catalog it uses the bundle above; the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder; the Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Adhesive Backed Speckle Dots.  All such great products!

It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!   It's beginning to feel like fall is just around the corner - lower temps, less humidity - just beautiful.  So that is where my thoughts are turning - and so today's tutorial for a beautiful fall card - just look at those amazing colors.

Autumn Leaves

  Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Autumn Leaves (162178);

·       Dies: Autumn Leaves (162185)

·       Card Stock and DSP:  Crumb Cake (120953); Pretty Peacock (150880); Oxidized Copper Specialiy DSP (162190)

·       Stamp Pads: Pretty Peacock (1150093);

·       Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (162189); Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder (159847)

·       Miscellaneous: Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots (162191]: Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

 Measurements:

 ·       Crumb Cake Card Stock: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, 4 ¼” x 5 ½”, scrap for die cutting and the sentiment.

·       Pretty Peacock  2 ¼”x 4 ½”

·       Oxidized Copper DSP ¾”x 4 ½”, scraps for the leaves

 Instructions:

 1.    Fold the larger piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock at 4 ¼” and burnish.

2.    Emboss the smaller piece of Crumb Card CS using the Leaf Fall EF and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then adhere to the card base using the Multipurpose Glue.

3.    Emboss the Pretty Peacock using the Distressed Tile EF by running it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine

4.    Die cut three of the smaller leaves from the Autumn Leaves Dies.

5.    Adhere the strip of Oxidized Copper to the back side of the Pretty Peacock piece. Add dimensionals to the backside and adhere to the card front.

6.    Stamp sentiment using the Pretty Peacock ink onto the scrap piece of Crumb Cake. Then die cut out using the die from the Autumn Die

7.    Add dimensionals to the backside of the leaves and adhere onto the Pretty Peacock piece.

8.    Adhere the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the right hand and demensionals to the left side. Place onto card.

9.    Finish off the card by adding the Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots.

 Measurements:

·       Misty Moonlight: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4” then burnished with the Bone Folder, ¾” x 3”

·       Berry Burst: 3” x 4-1/2”

·       Crushed Curry: 3” x 4-1/2” (x2)

·       Basic White: 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”

·       Designer Series Paper: 4” x 5-1/4”, ¾” x 3”

·       Ribbon: 24”

 Instructions:

1.     Adhere DSP panel to card base with Glue so it is askew/angled.

2.     Die cut left side and bottom of Basic White panel. Stamp three branches, fanned out to sides, with Lemon Lime Twist. Using Misty Moonlight marker’s brush end, flick ink using marker cap to flick off of and a few inches over Basic White. This will result in a light splatter. Use test paper until you feel you have the feel of it.

3.     Die cut two Crushed Curry branches and one Berry Burst. Starting with Crushed Curry, attach to Basic White piece with tiny dots of Glue. Repeat with Berry Burst in the center.

4.     Stamp sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink onto Lemon Lime Twist DSP then die cut. Die cut with same die out of Misty Moonlight cardstock. Adhere together with Glue.

5.     Affix Basic White panel on card front with Glue at an angle.

6.     Attach sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.     With double strands, tie bow with Linen Thread and cut off ends. Attach beneath sentiment with Mini Glue Dot.

8.     Sprinkle three Loose Silver Sequins onto front using Mini Glue Dots to adhere.
