Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Gingerbread Man

 

Happy Sunday - hoping your weekend is going great. Time to share another great project and free tutorial! I am in love with the whimsical nature of this Gingerbread Man set.  I hope you like this card as much as I do!

Gingerbread Man

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Gingerbread Man (165778)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White (166780), Pretty in Pink (163793), Real Red  (102482), Garden Green (102584), Soft Seafoam (146988), Basic Black (121045), Pool Party (122924)

·       Stamp Pads: Pool Party (147107), Pretty Ink Pink (163807), Soft Seafoam (147102), Garden Green (147089), Real Red (147084), Craft White (147277)

·       Tools: Gingerbread Man dies (165784), Blending Brush (153611), Water Painters (168253)

·       Miscellaneous: Basic Rhinestones (144220); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

Measurements:

 ·       Pretty in Pink: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 2” x 2”

·       Basic White: (2) 4” x 5 ¼”,

·       Basic Black 1” x 3 ½”

·       Soft Seafoam: 2” x 2”

·       Garden Green: 1 ¾” x 3”

·       Real Red: 1 ¾” x 3”

·       Pool Party: 2” x 2”

 Instructions:

 1.    Cit a 5 ½” x 8 ½” Pretty in Pink card base. Fold in half.

2.    Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White panel.

3.    Using a blending brush, add Pool Party ink over the entire center of the panel in a circular motion.

4.    Stamp the gumdrop candies across the center using Real Red, Pool Party, Garden Green, Soft Seafoam and Pretty in Pink inks.

5.    Squeeze the Pretty in Pink ink onto the lid.

6.    Using a water painter, add water to the brush and pick up some of the ink. Tap on top of the stamped panel to add speckles as desired.

7.    Adhere the panel to the card front.

8.    Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock using Craft White ink. Let dry completely. Trim all around.

9.    Cut (2) lollipop bases, (2) candy cane tops and (1) candy wrapper from Basic White cardstock.

10. Cut (1) Soft Seafoam lollipop top, (1) Pretty in Pink lollipop top, (1) Real Red candy cane base, (1) Garden Green candy cane base and (1) Pool Party candy wrapper top.

11. Adhere all the lollipop, candy canes and candy wrappers together.

12. Adhere the candy wrapper to the card front.

13. Adhere the lollipops and candy canes to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

14. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

15. Adhere (5) Basic Rhinestones randomly to the card front.

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Humble Home

 

It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!  I so love the festive feel of this simple Christmas card - the DSP is just making it so fun.  Super quick and easy.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

Humble Home

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Humble Home Punch Bundle (164094)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Real Red (102482); Basic White Card Stock (159276); Take a Bow DSP:  (164309)

·       Stamp Pads: Real Red (147084); Versamark (102283)

·       Tools: Stylish Shape Dies (159183); Heat Tool (129053);

·       Miscellaneous: Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (165679); Real Red & White Adhesive- Backed Peppermints (164050); Real Red & White Baker’s Twine (164051); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Measurements:

·       Real Red Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 ¼”

·       Basic White Card Stock: 5 ¼” x 4” – cut 2; use second largest circle from Stylish Shape dies to crop one circle; ½” x 1 ¼”

·       Take a Bow DSP:  use second smallest circle to crop 10 circles of different DSP

Instructions:

1.    Fold Real Red Card Stock in half to form a card base.

2.    After die cutting 10 circles, adhere to the perimeter of the Basic White panel, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. 

3.    Use Versmark ink to stamp house onto Real Red cardstock.  Emboss with White Embossing Powder. 

4.    Use Humble Home punch to punch out the Red house. Adhere to Basic White circle with dimensionals. 

5.    Wrap Twine around Basic White Panel – two times and tie a bow on the right side of the panel.

6.    Attach panel to Real Red card base with dimensionals.

7.    Add the Basic White circle to card front with dimensionals. 

8.    Stamp words onto small Basic White panel with Real Red ink and attach to card with dimensionals.

9.    Embellish with the gems. 

10. Adhere the second Basic White panel to the inside of card.

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Splendid Autumn

Splendid Autumn

 ·       Stamp Sets: Everyday Greetings (165084)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Early Espresso (119686), Crushed Curry (131199), Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper (164173)

·       Stamp Pads: Early Espresso (147114)

·       Tools: Nested Essentials Dies (161597)

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

 Measurements:

 ·       Early Espresso 8 ½ x 5 ½

·       Designer Series Paper 5 3/8 x 4 1/8

·       Early Espresso 5 x 3 ¾

·       Designer Paper 4 7/8 x 3 3/8

·       Crushed Curry  for diecutting

 Instructions:

 1.    Fold Early Espresso in ½ to create card base

2.    Add DSP to base

3.    Add smaller DSP (daisies) to smaller Early Espresso and add to card front aligning up the edge

4.    Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso Ink on Crushed Curry label and add to card with Dimensionals

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Sunny Days, Sending Smiles


 It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!  This week's card combines two of my favorites - the Sending Smiles stamp set and the Sunny Days Sale-a-bration free with purchase DSP!  I  hope you like it as much as I do!

Sunny Days Sending Smiles Card

Supplies:

 ·       Stamp Set: Sending Smiles (158701)

·       Card Stock and Paper:

Basic Black (121045), Basic White (159276), Poppy Parade (119793), Sending Smiles DSP (162974)

·       Stamp Pads: Crushed Curry (147087), Poppy Parade (147050), Tuxedo Black Memento (132708)

·       Miscellaneous: Adhesive Sheets (152334), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Opaque Faceted Gems (162979), Sending Dies (159271), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

Measurements:

 ·       Poppy Parade Cardstock: 1 ½” x 4” and 5 ½” x 8 ½”; score at 4 ¼” and fold to form card base.

·       Sunny Days DSP:  3” x 4”; need two pieces each a different pattern

·       Basic Black Cardstock:  1” x 3” for die cut flower stem

·       Basic White Cardstock:  3” x 4 ¼” for die cuts, and 4” x 5 ¼” for inside card

·       Adhesive Sheet:  1 ½” x 4”

 Instructions:

 1.    Cut each piece listed in the measurements above.

2.    Fold Poppy Parade cardstock in half to form card base.

3.    Adhere the two pieces of Sunny Days DSP to the card front at different angles. 

4.    Die cut flower stem from Basic black cardstock and adhere to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

5.    Stamp flower image onto Basic White cardstock using Poppy Parade ink.  Stamp flower center using Crushed Curry ink.  Die cut flower along with sentiment label and background for “Sending” from the Basic White cardstock.

6.    Adhere die cut flower to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

7.    Stamp sentiment onto die cut label using Tuxedo Black Memento ink; adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Apply strip of Adhesive Sheet to the Poppy Parade cardstock strip; die cut Sending sentiment.

9.    Peel backing from the die cut Sending sentiment and adhere to the Basic White die cut background; adhere sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

10. Embellish card front with Pool Party Opaque Faceted Gems.

11. Adhere Basic White cardstock layer to the inside of the card.
