I love fall - and these cards and their watercolor look evoke memories of driving through aspen groves in fall and seeing the beautiful yellows of the leaves. This month - I did not change up much. I loved the kit so much - so I took the vertical layout and changed it up just a bit -
First I put the main layers together with dimensional. Then switched up the sentiment layer just a bit from the original look. But then I stamped a few of the aspen leaves onto some of the punched out scrapes with the Early Espresso spot.
After stamping them - I colored them in with the Golden Glow Shimmer brush which turned out great. I was amazed that the liquid in the brush did not blur the stamped lines at all.
I decided not to add the gems in the kit to keep this as a more masculine or even sympathy card.
Then, of course I stamped the sentiment onto the front of the beautiful envelope included - and it fit perfectly.
