ICS Blog Hop - July 2026 - Online Exclusives

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for July 2026!  This month's we are sharing ideas that are all created using Online Exclusive products.

It is a whole new world of products - if you are not checking out the Online Exclusives on the website - you are missing out on a wealth of creative options.   So I'm sharing a recent project that I LOVE -

This card turned out so lovely - and was so very simple to make using the Online Exclusives - Violet Dreams Specialty DSP.

#168186 Violet Dreams Spec. DSP $17.00

It comes with two of these punch out sheets -
So that is just about it for what I used on my card.  My base is Fresh Freesia, sentiment is stamped in Hydrangea Hue and bubble cut, and I added a Fresh Freesian bow and three Barely Blush 2026-28 InColor Dots.  That is it - and it's ready to send.
Hope this gives you some inspiration and gets your creative juices going and make something beautiful.
So now, take a few minutes and hop on through all the blogs below for more ideas - and be sure to leave comments!!

ICS Blog Hop - February 2026 - It's a Love Thing!

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for February 2026!  This month's we are sharing ideas that are all about love - Valentines, Wedding, Anniversary and more.  So I've been playing with some beautiful DSP and just decided to go with it.
My card features the Lovely Blossoms DSP - everything about it is beautiful.  I pulled my sentiment froom Beautiful Motifs; and used the embedded embossing technique!

This DSP is only four designs - three sheets each - and one of the page designs is all of these great panels -
Makes it so quick and easy to make some beautiful cards.  I used the Beautiful Pattern 3D EF for the Layer and for the Flap of the card -
This would be perfect for a wedding or an anniversary.
Here is another card with this DSP and technique -
Hope this gives you some inspiration and gets your creative juices going and make something beautiful.
So now, take a few minutes and hop on through all the blogs below for more ideas - and be sure to leave comments!!

ICS Blog Hop - August 2025 - My Favorite Bundle!

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for August 2025!  This month each of us are sharing our favorite bundle (or at least one of my favorites.)  For me - I chose Impressions Abloom!
#165611 Impressions Abloom - $48.50 (USD)

So - check out why I like this bundle, and then hop on through all the other blogs listed to see which ones are their favs!
~*~*~*~*~
So for me - I can NEVER have too many flower sets - and this was a must have for me as soon as I saw it.  I think it is because it is such a versatile set.  I created a couple totally different looks with this one set. This first is using the set in a two-step stamping technique as it was designed.  By stamping each layer of the image in a different color you great a great image.
Here it is close up - and look at those adorable little flowers the dies cut out.
Then I went a different direction with a faux water color look - by stamping the lined image once; spritzing with water; and then after it dried stamping again.
I really love this look; and gave it more personality by splattering colored spots with my Stampin' Write markers.  I also love the fun colors in this one.
And there is so much more you can do with this bundle, by simple using the dies; or stamping just the bold images; or just the lines ones; or coloring ------ you are only limited by your imagination!

 Hope you liked this ideas!

ICS Blog Hop - December 2024 - Last Chance!

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for December 2024!  So glad you are here! Stampin' Up! has released a new category on their website called "Last Chance" - these products are all products that will be retiring once supplies have run out - that could be in one hour or 6 months, or who knows!  And a really fun aspect is that many of them are on sale.  All of our projects this month focus on just that - products from the "Last Chance" list!
You may have hopped over here from Sharon's blog and saw her great project.  Be sure to hop on through all the great blogs below for more inspiration!
~*~*~*~*~
So my last chance product is the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP).  It was $12.50 and is currently on sale for $11.25 while supplies last - and it is soooooo beautiful.
#164156 Regal Winter Was $12.50 Now $11.25 while supplies last

Here is a super simple card made with this paper - and you can see it just "makes" the card - it's so very elegant. This is made with a very simple One Sheet Wonder layout - which is a favorite way to get a lot of cards done quickly.  With the holidays right around the corner, we all need this.

Just start with a 6 x 6" piece of your favorite DSP (note: for this cut you should use a pattern paper that is not directional).  At the top left corner, make a small pencil mark 1 1/2" in along the top; turn the paper 90 degrees and repeat, till all four sides are marked.  Then cut diagonally from one side to the opposite side mark; put pieces back together with a small piece of post-it note or washi tape; turn and cut from the other two sides from one pencil mark to the opposite side.
Remove the washi and you should four pieces that are exactly alike in size and shape.  Now you are ready to quickly put four cards together.
o

Below is a picture of the four cards completed.  I added the DSP to the upper left corner of a Basic White card base.  Stamped a sentiment from the "Greetings of the Season" set.  Layered it with a piece of Cherry Cobbler/Gold ribbon, and layered that onto a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock.  Final touch was to add three Blooming Pearls embellishments to each - all four colors work well with this DSP.
It only took me about 1/2 hour start to finish to complete these four cards - and I love how elegant they are.
If you'd like to see a video on how these came together you can click HERE
Hope you liked this idea, and will try it!
Now, be sure to follow the hop through and see what other creative ideas this team came up with.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop November 2024 - December Holidays!

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop for November 2024 - featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of projects and design styles to share with you this month - and every one of them is spotlighting projects for December holidays!

~*~*~*~*~

I so love this time of year - November for Thanksgiving and December for Christmas.  Lately I've been working on a few Home Decor Items for the holidays and today, I'll share one with you.  I love covering wood elements with our awesome Designer Series Paper (DSP) - so here is one of my recent creations -

It's really so easy - but I'm including a step by step tutorial for this incase you have not tried before.

Step 1 - the first thing is to purchase (or create if you do woodworking) your wood piece.  These are available at most hobby stores in many shapes - so for this project I chose stars.  Lay the wood piece onto the DSP you plan to use and trace around it with a pencil.  I used our "Take A Bow" DSP - which has a ton of coordinating designs.
Step 2 - Using your paper snips - cut out the image - cut just inside of your pencils lines to have the best fit.
Step 3 - adhere the DSP to the wood piece - Tombow liquid multi-purpose glue works great for this.  It's very strong, and it gives you some wiggle room to make sure the DSP and wood line up.
Step 4 - You can then trim off any extra DSP hang-over pieces and use a sanding block to smooth out all the edges.  It's best to hold your wood piece level and sand down from the front to the back of the wood piece.  This causes any excess DSP to be sanded off.
Step 5 - Then to camoflauge any imperfections in the edges, I used a dauber and added some Real Red Ink to all of the edges.  This also makes the DSP pop.  Then I cut out letters with the Mini Alphabet die to make my words to add on cardstock layers.
Step 6 - Next I took a piece of SU White Frayed Ribbon (#158138) on the Clearance Rack, and cut a long piece of it to become the base for my stars. (any coordinating substantial ribbon will do).  I added Tear and Tape to the ribbon to adhere a jump ring at the top for hanging.
Step 7 -

Step 8 - Finally I used the Tear and Tape again to adhere each of the three stars I made to the ribbon.
My Finished project - I love how it turned out and will be displaying it with pride this holiday season.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I would love to hear your thoughts and comments!

ICS Blog Hop - November 2024 - Christmas is coming!

Welcome to our Inspire - Create - Share Blog Hop for November 2024!  So glad you are here! Christmas is right around the corner - before you know it, it will be here!
All of our projects this month focus on just that - Christmas is coming!
You might be hopping on over here from Elizabeth's site - who had some elegant holiday inspiration for us!  Be sure to hop on through all the great blogs below for more inspiration!

~*~*~*~*~

So I love the idea of creating a great piece of decorative art to be displayed in someone's home for the holidays!  Either my own home - or to gift.  I started with the Happy Houseplants kit - now you could certainly make up the kit just the way it comes and give the finished products as gifts. Or you could even give the kit as it to a crafty friend.

Happy Houseplants #163873 - $25.00 (US Market)*

But I chose to pull out a frame and mat from the kit and make a Holiday Decor piece.  Just a note - be sure to take the plastic film off both sides of the cover plastic.  Only one side of the film is printed on, and I missed taking off the other side at first.
So I used the brayer to add Pretty Peacock in to the mat from the frame.  I went over it several times till I got it the depth of color I wanted.  You could continue till it was solid - but I liked the mottled look - and the glass mat made clean up so easy!
For my project I was using a 6"x6" piece of the Oxidized Copper Specialty paper for my background - and I wanted more of it to show, so I ended up cutting down the mat to 1/2" and using it like a border around my image so more of the Copper would show.
Then, using the Shepherd's Care stamp set - I created this beautiful scene.  The Shepherd was fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals - making it more 3D - and these frames work perfect for that.
After that I just added a few rhinestone gems to the sky to add some sparkle and put it all in my frame - these frames are great as they have both a hanger for hanging and an easel for standing - so you can display as you wish.  I really love how it came together!
But, you are probably wondering, if you use your frames to do this, what do you do with the rest of your pieces of the kit.  Well, I did what we do best - make a card!!
I cut my plant base piece from the kit down to a cardfront layer size - 4" x 5 1/4" and layered it onto a Granny Apple Green card base.  Completed the image as show in the kit, added a sentiment (from "Textured Floral"), some Iridescent Adhesive backed Discs and a cute little bow-
I then used some foliage from "Spotlight on Nature" set and stamped it on the inside of the card and on the envelope - coming down from the top to mimic the hanging plant.
To continue our "Christmas is Coming" theme - you could do all four images from the kit on cards, tie them up with a bow - and they become another fun Christmas gift.  How fun is that!

Hope you liked this idea, and will try it!
Now be sure to follow the hop through and see what other creative ideas this team came up with.
