Prize #4 - a set of Stampin' Up! Notecards and Envelopes for you to decorate. Used in today's project -
|Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes|
So for today's project I took on a recent challenge from Stampin' Up! for Simple Stamping - cards and projects using only ink, stamps and paper - that even a beginner could do. #simplestamping This project does just that a quick and easy note card to send out for the Holidays!
Here is a close up view. I used the beautiful "First Frost" set from the Holiday Catalog. I wasn't even sure I wanted this set, but once I got it - it quickly became a favorite. And I am sooooo happy to see it on the carry-over list! So only two inks were used - Old Olive and Poppy Parade. Nothing is popped up or cut out or layered. Just sweet, simple stamping.
But I also wanted to show you a little stepped up version. Not a lot - just a little :) On the samples below - I stamped the large rose once again on a piece of scrap paper and then popped it up over the other one with dimensionals. Only took a couple minutes, a scissors and dimensionals to achieve this version.
You can see a bit more here what I am talking about - and I love how it turned out. I think if you changed the sentiment these would be beautiful Thank You notes for Christmas gifts, also.
