Some more Embossing Paste - with a Spring Pallette

So today I'm sharing the cards that we made for our project at Technique club in January.  I had this card in my mind - and am so thankful to say - it turned out just as I pictured it.  I really love the Blushing Bride with Soft Suede on this card - those two colors complement each other so well.  It uses the new Petal Palette set from the Occasions catalog.
We used the plain embossing paste and then while still wet, we sprinkled gold embossing powder on it, and heat set with the heat tool.  You need to be sure to sprinkle before the top of it dries - which is only a minute or two.  Then, it took a bit longer to get it all melted as the embossing paste was a bit wet - but it was only a couple minutes and worth it.  On the card above I used the lattice stencil and the one below the brick stencil.
Here you can see both cards - I can't decide which I like better.  They are both just so soft and beautiful -
Hope you are inspired to try the new embossing pastes - they are so much fun!  Let me know what you think!
