Prize #8 - Snail Adhesive. Used in today's project -
~*~*~*~*~
So today I am sharing a quick and easy gift you can still make for the holidays.  It is a Easel Card that includes a small calendar.  I ordered mine early - so it may be too late to get the calendars on time - but you could print one from online or substitute a small package of post it notes.
These are the gifts that I mailed out to my TEAM members and current CLUB members for the holidays as a thank you for their support.   I made 71 of them!  The background image was created by cutting apart some of the beautiful folders we as demonstrators can order from Stampin' Up!  I was able to get 6 layers from each folder.  Then depending on the design I ended up with - they were stamped with one of several different inspirational verses.
If you don't have those folders - all you need to do is stamp a layer in any design you'd like.  Here is a simple pattern for making your own easel cards -
All of they layers were just adhered together with snail adhesive.
Since they fold pretty flat - I was able to send them in a regular envelope - that I had to decorate to coordinate of course.
Hope you enjoyed this project, and will try making some easel gifts of your own.

Prize #6 - a Wink of Stella, used in today's project -

~*~*~*~*~

I'm excited to share today's project as I just finished all of my Gift Card orders and got them out to my customers - so now I can share how I packaged them.  Below is the front of the folder they were in.  Unfortunately you can not see the beautiful glimmer on the roses in these pictures.  I added it with Wink of Stella - and they are so lovely in person.

Each gift certificate was printed and stamped to match the folder and then mounted on a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock to give it stability.  I blocked out the name of the recipient here.  I also stamped the pocked tone on tone with Crumb Cake.

This folder was made by using 1 sheet of cardstock trimming 1.5" off of a 8.5" x 11" to make it 8.5" x 9.5" and then folding to fit the certificate and adhering.  This would also be a perfect cash presentation folder.  I adhered some of our braided twin under the front image before adhering the layers to give me twine for a closure.  See picture below.
Here is the folder closed and tied shut - along with that amazing First Frost stamp set I used to create it.  I love it so much!  And am super happy with how these turned out.

I then slid it into a stamped regular mailing envelope - where I have also blocked off the recipients name.  Those that were mailed were then sent to the recipient in a larger envelope, but fortunately I was able to hand deliver most.  Thank you to all who ordered.  Please note, gift certificates can be ordered from me at any time.  The stamping and folder designs will vary through out the year.

Prize #6 - a Timeless Tidings Project Kit. Used in today's project -

~*~*~*~*~

So for today's project I wanted to share one of the most beautiful kits I think we have ever offered - it's the Timeless Tidings Project kit from page 33 of the Holiday Catalog.  This kit is on the retirement list and will only be available as supplies last - but look just how beautiful these cards are.

Kits are great for beginner stampers as well as when you just need to come up with a bunch of cards quickly.  I did a class on these cards recently and it was a big hit.  In the entire kit  you get enough supplies to make 20 cards - 5 each of four designs.  Each of of them has some pretty gold accent layer or edge which really makes them elegant.
All you need extra is adhesives, a stamp pad and a stamp set.  It coordinates with the Timeless Tidings stamp set in the holiday catalog.  But as you can see you could use many Christmas/Holiday sentiments to make it work.  NOTE: the stamp set is not included in the giveaway.

If you are interested in any of these items you can place an order at www.stampingwithmaureen.stampinup.net and click on SHOP NOW.  Be sure to check out all the new items on the Clearance Rack - as well as the Year-End Clearance while you are there.
