Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Hello Spring - February 2025

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop!  I am so excited to be a part of this team of hoppers sharing alternative designs for each month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  This month's kit is all about the February 2025 Hello Spring kit!!  Hopefully what we show will inspire you.  Be sure to hop all the way through to see what this amazing team has come up with!
Here is the unboxing video - so you can see all that is included and how the kit can come together.
~*~*~*~*~
FEBRUARY: Hello Spring
Subscribe January 11–February 10
Plant the seeds of happiness with these lovely garden-inspired cards.
• Makes 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs
• Precut pieces with bronze foil
• Unique spring-themed envelopes

~*~*~*~*~*~
It is starting to warm up and feel like Spring here in Tennessee and that means we are planning our gardens - so this set was so timely.  I love gardening and herbs and had so much fun playing!  As soon as I saw the individual herbs - I thought about how I dry them to preserve for future use; and just flipped them around to create this first alternative sample -
I used a layer cut from one of the card bases; as well as a Basic White CS layer - and to make the tops of these pop, I stenciled a little blue using the circles from the negative portion of the punch outs.  Added my little linen thread bows and I truly love how it turned out.
But, I couldn't stop there - next I used a super simple layout with strips from two of the card bases - a layer of Lost Lagoon and a layer of Basic Beige on a Basic White base.  The strips were layered all catty-wampus and then my focal point and sentiment were added.
And if you are wondering where I got those beautiful blue gems - well they are just our Basic Rhinestone gems colored with a Tranquil Tide blend - and they match perfectly.
Then I did one more this with this kit - each year when we plan our garden I print little cards where we keep our seed info.  And I store these in a plastic container that I purchased online.  But this year - I decided to add the chives stamped onto the cards just to make them more fun.
Here is the seed packet - I've listed above - so you can see what I mean.
If you'd like to print these out for your own used (four up on a sheet) - you can download them HERE as a word document.

I hope you've enjoyed these alternative ideas.  Now be sure to hop through the rest to get some more great inspiration.  Don't forget to leave a comment, as we'd love to hear what you think.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop February 2025 - Sale-a-bration - again!

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop for February 2025 - featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of projects and design styles to share with you this month - and every one of them is spotlighting projects using our free Sale-a-bration product offerings!

~*~*~*~*~

Sale-a-bration is winding down.  Less than two weeks to earn beautiful free products with purchase - and I have been having so much fun playing with those products.  This project features two of them - the Documenting the Day Stamp Set -

and the Fruit Salad DSP -

I combined them to make this simple and beautiful card -
The simple dotted DSP is on the backside of the Pomegranate fruit - and is the perfect backdrop for the large bold sentiment.  I stamped and fussy cut the sun for a little fun addition, and not sure if you can see it or not; but I added some Wink of Stella to it to give the card some added sparkle.
This card would be a perfect Thank you Card to someone who made a day special for you; or a Birthday card to someone, celebrating their wonderful day.  Add a little iridescent bow and some low profile dots - and you have a the perfect little card.
Hope you liked it!

~*~*~*~*~

Now, please click on through to the rest of those hopping with me this month to see all of their wonderful creations and inspirations! ~Maureen
