Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Time to Unwind

Happy Sunday - Time to share another great project and free tutorial!  I know that it is fall - and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming - but I had to share an adorable card with one of my favorite new stamp sets - Time to Unwind.  If I am not paper crafting, then I am crocheting - both hobbies keep me sane (or saner any way).  Hope you like it as much as I do! Enjoy!

·       Designer Series Paper:3-3/4” x 5”

·       Basic White: 4-1/2” x 2-3/4”, multiple scraps

·       Linen Thread: 13”

 Instructions:

1.    Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Lost Lagoon cardstock layer, then adhere to the card base.

2.    Stamp “time to unwind” in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut with the rectangle from the Phrases & Frames Dies. Die cut the coordinating frame from Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

3.    Adhere the Basic White sentiment piece to the card front, then adhere the Blackberry Bliss frame around it.

4.    On Basic White scraps, stamp the long skein images in Blackberry Bliss ink and the round yarn ball images in Lost Lagoon ink. Color with the Light Blackberry Bliss and Light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends, respectively. Fussy cut with Detail Scissors.

5.    On Basic White scraps, stamp the knitting needles in Secret Sea ink and the yarn strand in Blackberry Bliss ink. Fussy cut with Detail Scissors.

6.    Loosely arrange the yarn images along the left side of the sentiment panel. Once you are happy with the placement, adhere them in place, leaving portions unglued where needed to tuck in the knitting needles and yarn strand. Secure those pieces with small dots of glue.

7.    Double a length of Linen Thread and tie a double bow. Adhere with a Mini Glue Dot and trim the ends as desired.

8.    Finish with three Cajun Craze Dots.
