Happy Sunday - Time to share another great project and free tutorial!  Balloon Festoon is such a great bundle - so versatile - and perfect for any celebration!  Just love this card - and hope you like it as much as I do! Enjoy!

Balloon Festoon

 Supplies:

 ·       Stamp Sets: Balloon Festoon (167602)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Barely Blush CS (167689); Basic White CS; Basic Black CS; Peaceful Pine CS (167691); Crisp Cantaloupe CS (167693); Golden Glow CS (167685); Hydrangea Hue CS (167687)

·       Stamp Pads: Basic Black Hybrid Stampin’ Pad (166648)

·       Tools: Balloon Festoon Dies (167605); Mini Alphabet Dies (162934); Forever Plaid 3D EF (164049)

·       Miscellaneous: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (black) (155475); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Measurements:

 ·       Barely Blush CS Base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored on long side at 4 ¼”; scrap to die cut

·       Basic White CS: 3 ¾” x 5”; ¾” x 4 ¼”

·       Basic Black CS: 1” x 4 1/4”; scraps to die cut

·       Peaceful Pine, Crisp Cataloupe, Golden Glow and Hydrangea Hue CS scraps to die cut

·       Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (black) 5 – 4” lengths and 1 - 9” length

 Instructions:

 1.    Emboss the large layer of Basic White CS with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card base.

2.    Die cut letters for the Word “HAPPY” out of Basic Black CS with the Mini Alphabet Dies. Die cut the five balloons with the 2nd from smallest of the balloon dies, one from each of the In-Colors.

3.    Attach one of the 5 shorter lengths of Black Twine to the back of each of the die cut balloons; then attach balloons to the front of the card as shown (H,P,Y with Stampin’ Seal – A, P with Stampin’ Dimensionals) leaving the tails of twine hanging down.

4.    Attach each of the letters in order with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Pull the tails of twine together, and using the long length of twine tie a bow around the.  Trim ends.  Attach to card with a Mini Glue Dot behind the knot.

5.    On the strip of Basic White CS, stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment using the Basic Black Hybrid Stampin’ Pad repeating till strip is full.  Attach this to the strip of Basic Black CS and using Stampin’ Dimensionals pop this up onto the front of the card as shown.

6.    Add five of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the balloon.  Finish the inside of your card and your envelope as desired.
