It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial!  I love butterflies - and the simplicity of the card is so my style.  Clean and beautiful.   I hope you like it as much as I do!

Country Flowers

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Country Flowers Set (163405) (Bundle is (163411)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White CS (159276); Basic Black CS (121045); Petal Pink CS (146958); Old Olive CS (100702); Country Lace DSP (163415); Country Woods DSP (163393)

·       Stamp Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708)

·       Tools: Country Flowers Dies (163410)

·       Miscellaneous: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Linen Thread (104199); Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (163414)

 Measurements:

·       Basic White CS base: 4 ¼” x 11” scored at 4 ½”, 5 ½” on long side; 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”; ½” x 3 ¾”

·       Basic Black CS: 4” x 4”; ¾” x 4”

·       Old Olive and Petal Pink CS scraps for leaves and flowers

·       Country Lace DSP: 1 ¼” x 3 ¾”

·       Country Woods DSP: 2” x 2” to die cut jug

·       Linen Thread: 15”

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Score base on score lines; this card opens from the right, and has the 1” scored section to the left when base is closed. 

2.    Run the small Basic White strip through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Eyelet 3D EF.

3.    Glue the two Basic Black pieces to the appropriate front section of card.  Then adhere the two Basic White pieces to the appropriate front section of the card.

4.    Using Memento Black ink stamp your sentiment in the upper right corner of the Basic White square.  Adhere the strip of Country Lace DSP to the bottom of this square as shown.

5.    Tie the linen thread around the front panel of the card in the 1” scored section and tie a bow; then adhere the 1” front section to the inside of the card to form a book type opening.

6.    Die cut your jug, leaves and flowers from the appropriate paper – 1 large leaf cluster, 1 small leaf pair and 1 single leaf from Old Olive CS; 2 flowers (1small, 1 large) from the Petal Pink CS; and the jug from the piece of Country Woods DSP.

7.    Adhere the jug and the large cluster of leaves to the card front as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the flowers and the smaller leaves as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Place a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of each flower.
