It’s basically BOGO in value.  An online order of $50 earns a box of product worth a minimum of $50 in retired product; an online $100 order earns a box of product worth a minimum of $100 in retired product; that’s how it works.  For every order $50 or more you will earn at least the equivalent in retired merchandise value – how great is that!  You’ll get a box each time you order at one of those levels during my promotion dates.  Value is based on approximate original sales value in the previous catalogs.

·       Card Stock and Paper: Cherry Cobbler (119685); Melon Mambo (115320); Basic White (159276); Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) (164919)

·       Stamp Pads: Memento Black (132708); Melon Mambo (147051)

·       Tools: Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder (164656); To the Point Punch (164568)

·        Miscellaneous: Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems (163780); Large Check Ribbon (161982); Paper Snips (103579); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Stampin’ SEAL (152813)

 Measurements:

 ·       Cherry Cobbler: 4 ¼” x 11” card base

·       Cherry Cobbler: 3” x 4 ¼” layer

·       Basic White: 2” x 2 ½”

·       Melon Mambo: 2 ¾” x 4”

·       Marbled Elegance DSP: 4” x 5 ¼”

 Instructions:

 1.    Score the Cherry Cobbler card base on the long side at 5 ½” and fold.

2.    Attach the piece of DSP to the card front using Stampin’ SEAL.

3.    Wrap a piece of Large Check Ribbon around the center of the card front adhering it to the front of the card with Stampin’ SEAL. This will be hidden with the next layer.

4.    Emboss a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock using the Plaster Painting Embossing Folder and attach to the 3” x 4 ¼” layer of Cherry Cobler cardstock.

5.    Pop this layer up using Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center of the card front over the seam of the ribbon.

6.    Stamp the border image on Basic White cardstock using Melon Mambo ink. Then, stamp the sentiment using Memento Black ink on the inside of the border.

7.    Stamp two lined hearts using Melon Mambo ink stamping off once on scrap paper for a lighter shade for each one.

8.    Punch out the sentiment using the To the Point Punch. Then, pop the sentiment piece on to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.    Add a bow to the left side of the sentiment using Mini Glue Dots.

10. Lastly, add three Metallic Gems to the card.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Hearts for You - January 2025

 

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop!  I am so excited to be a part of this team of hoppers sharing alternative designs for each month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  This month's kit is all about the January 2025 Hearts for You kit!!  Hopefully what we show will inspire you.  Be sure to hop all the way through to see what this amazing team has come up with!

JANUARY: Hearts for You
Create heartfelt cards for Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, and beyond!

Love is in the air with this kit - so many hearts and great sentiments.  I am sharing two of my alternatives with you today.  

The first uses the marbled base from the kit - I scored the front panel from the middle score line down two inches on the right side, and folded it back and adhered.  

This made the perfect spot to adhere my large foil heart that I layered over one of the red heart punch outs.  Finished it off with the "Love" sticker, a stamped "YOU" and three of SU's Adhesive Backed Heart Sequins.

Then added a couple little hearts on the inside stamped.  You can also see here how nice the back of the hearts look when the card is open.

My second alternative is a super simple little Valentine card.  Perfect if you need to make up a bunch to send or for a child who needs them for school.  I used SU's Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes - as they are smaller - but yet, mailable. 

I took a 2" square of Gold Foil Cardstock, layered a 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" square cut from one of the card bases, and then added one of the many heart stickers in the kit. Finished it off with a simple "Love" sentiment from the kit in Real Red.  So simple, so sweet.

If you wanted to coordinate the envelope - that is easy enough to do - 

This is such an easily reproducable design - I just "love" how they came together so quickly - pun intended!

It's Sunday - and time to share another great project and free tutorial!  Sharing another super fun card using the Terrific Toadstools set - nothing but fun going on here.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

·       Tools: Fern 3D EF (158804):  Nested Essentials Dies (161597)

·       Miscellaneous: Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (163484): Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755): Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430);  Stampin’ UP! Cut & Emboss Machine (149653

 Measurements:

·       Melon Mambo C/S : 8 ½” x 5 ½” ,

·       Melon Mambo: 5 ¼”x 4”,

·       Basic White 3 ¼”x  3 ¼”  and scraps for stamping the Toadstools

·       Scrap of Early Espresso for stems of Toadstools

·       DSP 2” x 4 ½”

Instructions:

1.    Fold the Melon Mambo card base at 4 ¼” and burnish.

2.    Emboss the Melon Mambo with Fern embossing folder using the Stampin’ cut and embossing machine. Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Flag the bottom of the DSP. Adhere the DSP to front of card as shown in photo.

4.    With the largest square die from the Nested Essentials  and the Stampin’ Cut & Embossing machine, cut out using Basic White c/s.

5.    Stamp the largest Toadstool onto the Basic White using the Pumpkin Pie ink. Turn stamp around (so it’s solid) ink up and stamp off then stamp over the image. Do the same with the second largest Toadstool in Melon Mambo. Punch out using the Toadstool punch.

6.    Punch the stems in Early Espresso c/s. Adhere to the front of the Toadstools using your Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Stamp sentiment in Melon Mambo onto the Basic White die piece.

8.    Add dimensionals to back side of both Toadstools and adhere to the Nested Essentials piece just above the sentiment.

9.    Finish off the card by adding three Sequins.
