It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial! Today I'm sharing this adorable Gnome card - I put off getting this set till recently, and now I love it.  Planning to try some fun St. Paddy's Day cards with it this weekend.   Hope you like it!  Enjoy!

·       Stamp Sets: Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set (160714)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Fresh Freesia (155613); Basic White (159276); Butterfly Kisses 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (159112)

·       Stamp Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708); Highland Heather Classic Ink (147103); Pool Party Classic Ink (147107)

·       Tools: Gnome Dies (159625); Stitched with Whimsy Dies (155314); Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (154887); Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (154894); Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends (155519); Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (154904); Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (154885); Small Blending Brushes (160518)

Measurements:

·       Fresh Freesia CS: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2” and score at 4 1/4” on the long side

·       Basic White CS: (2) 3 1/2” x 4 7/8”; die cut with 2^nd to largest Stitched with Whimsy Die

·       Basic White CS: Scrap for stamping balloon and gnome – cut out

·       Fresh Freesia DSP: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2”

Instructions:

 1.    Adhere Fresh Freesia DSP to card front

2.    Stamp Gnome and Balloon; color with Stampin’ Blends and die cut or fussy cut

3.    Die cut (1) Basic White CS with Stitched with Whimsy die

4.    Blend Pool Party Classic Ink onto Basic White layer to create halo image, keeping the ink lighter in the area that you will stamp your flower directly onto this CS

5.    Stamp flower image and color in with Stampin’ Blends

6.    Adhere layer to card front

7.    Adhere gnome and balloon images using Stampin’ Dimensionals

8.    Add Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to balloon

9.    Add Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to card front

10. Stamp sentiment in Highland Heather Classic Ink onto second Basic White CS piece and adhere to inside of card.

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Sweet Citrus!

 

It's Sunday - and time to share another great card and free tutorial! Today I'm sharing a wonderful Lemony card.  It's been a week of yellows with daffodils coming up all over are yard - so this card just continues that theme. Hope you like it!  Enjoy!

·       Ink Pads: Daffodil Delight (147094); Petal Pink (147108); Sweet Sorbet (159216)

·       Tools: Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder (160644); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (159224); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack (159195); Bone Folder (102300); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

 Measurements:

 ·       Daffodil Delight : 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 ¼”

·       Basic White: 5” x 4”; 1” x 3 ¾”; 3” square

Instructions:

 1.    Using Daffodil Delight Ink, stamp the large “lemon peel stamp onto the Basic White panel – positioning as shown. 

2.    Stamp the inside of the lemons with Petal Pink ink.  Stamp the 3 flower stamp with Petal Pink Ink.

3.    Use Sweet Sorbet ink to stamp the centers of the flowers, and the words on word panel. 

4.    Crop the 3 flower images with coordinating die. 

5.    Use the Hybrid Embossing folder – position the stamped lemon panel into the Hybrid Embossing folder, adding the coordinating die cut shape. You will most likely need to “turn” the panel to get the lemons lined up.  Run through the Die Cutting Machine.  This will both emboss and crop the lemons. 

6.    Use a Bone Folder to strike the Dark Sweet Sorbet Blend over the Basic White Embossed panel to create a splatter. 

7.    Attach the embossed Basic White Panel to Daffodil Delight card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. 

8.    Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the die cut lemons onto the Basic White panel – position right above where they were cropped. 

9.    Angle the right side of the word panel with Paper Snip Scissors.

10. Wrap a length of Sweet Sorbet Baker’s Twine around the Word panel and tie in a bow.  Attach word panel to card front with a dimensional positioned near the Baker’s Twine.  Put just a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on right edge of word panel to secure. 

11. Attach two of the die cut flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals to upper right hand corner of card front. 

12. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere flower onto the word panel as shown.

13. Embellish as desired with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

14. Attach sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

 Measurements:

 ·       Thick Basic White : 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 ¼” and  3” x 4” for scalloped rectangle.

·       Basic Black: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and 5/8” x 2” for sentiment.

·       Rain or Shine DSP:  3 ¾” x 5”

 Instructions:

 1.    Attach DSP to Basic Black cardstock using Stampin’ Seal Adhesive then attach to card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.

2.    Cut scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Dies and stamp the cat image onto it.  Color the image (as seen in photo) using the Stampin’ Blends in the supply list.  (use the dark Daffodil Delight for the cupcake liner, going over it 2-3 times). Then attach image to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

3.    Stamp sentiment onto 5/8” x 2” piece of Basic Black cardstock using VersaMark.  Pour white embossing powder over sentiment, shaking excess off and heat emboss with Heat Tool.

4.    Attach sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5.    Add Iridescent Pastel Gems.
