·       Stamp Pads: Memento Black (132708)

Measurements:

·       Early Espresso CS: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored in half

·       Summer Splash CS: 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”, scraps

·       Daffodil Delight CS: 2” x ¼”

·       Granny Apple Green CS: 2” x ¼”

·       Petunia Pop CS: 2” x ¼”

·       Real Red CS: 2” x ¼”

·       Blueberry Bushel CS: 2” x ¼”

·       Basic White CS: scraps

·       Country Woods DSP: 5” x 3 ¾” (dark wood),  3 ½” x 3” (light wood)

Instructions:

·       Fold card base in half.

·       Adhere Summer Splash panel to card front, using Dimensionals.

·       Adhere dark DSP panel to card front, flat.

·       Stamp tv on light DSP panel, using Memento Black ink.

·       Color feet of tv using Pecan Pie Blends.

·       Die cut outside and inside of tv.

·       Die cut a Basic white screen tv insert and adhere all the small CS strips to this piece.

·       Trim strips to match the white tv insert piece.

·       Stamp sentiment on striped tv screen piece, using Memento Black ink.

·       Adhere this piece to card front, flat.

·       Adhere tv, positioning it over the striped tv insert and using Dimensionals on the tv.

·       Stamp antenna on white scrap CS using Memento Black ink and color using Smoky Slate Blends.

·       Die cut and adhere to card front, using Dimensionals.

·       Die cut 3 Summer Splash shapes (as shown on left side of tv) and adhere to card front using Dimensionals.

·       Add 2 Summer Splash Resin Dots on tv knobs.

Share it Sunday! Free tutorial - Layers of Beauty

·       Stamp Sets: Layers of Beauty (163514)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Melon Mambo CS (115320); Basic White CS (159276)

·       Stamp Pads: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (132708); Melon Mambo (147051); Pretty in Pink (163807); Real Red (147084); Old Olive (147090); Mossy Meadow (147111)

 Measurements:

 ·       Melon Mambo : 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”, 3 3/4” x 5”

·       Basic White: 3 - 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” one for front layer, one for inside and one to stamp and die cut flowers; 2 3/4” Square to diecut circle

·       Pretty in Pink Bordered Ribbon 8” for bow

 Instructions:

 1.    Adhere layer of basic white to Melon Mambo card base centered (one on front of card and one inside)

2.    Stamp the flower spray with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto the third white layer and allow to dry for at least 15 minutes.  Then color using the blender brushes, ink pads and Layers of Beauty Masks.  Die cut the spray and then die cut the individual rose out of the spray.

3.    Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo on the Melon Mambo layer randomly then adhere the spray as shown.  Stamp the sentiment onto the die cut circle and adhere as shown raised on Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Glue the individual rose to the circle as shown.

4.    Tie a bow with the Pretty in Pink Ribbon and adhere at bottom of circle.

5.    Add five of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of card.

Simple Sketch #15 Challenge - June 2024

 

Join me for some FUN! Each month (almost) I will be doing a new sketch challenge around the last week to 10 days of the month.

A Monthly Sketch Challenge!

Here is the sketch! Use it as your inspiration - your card should contain all the layers, but you can take some liberty with them. Add any embellishments you wish.

You might recognize this from my FB Live Video 6/21/2024 - here is the card I created -

 Just use the sketch and have fun.  The rest is up to you - just try and have similar layers!  Feel free to even change the size of the card or the orientation.  The coloring on the sketch, is just to show the layers - use any colors you wish!!  Here's the sketch with the measurements I used -

Post the card(s) you make in the comments of my Facebook Business page HERE, find the pinned Sketch challenge post at the top of my page and be sure to post by 5/31/2024, so they can be entered in my drawing on 6/1/2024. Paper Crafting Blog Hop June 2024 - Online Exclusives!

 

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop for June 2024 - featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of projects and design styles to share with you this month - and every one of them is spotlighting projects made with our Online Exclusives products.

So for my post I am using my very favorite bundle and DSP from our Online Exclusives - Latte Love Bundle and A Little Latte DSP. If you know me at all - you know I am totally addicted to caffiene. I grew up drinking coffee and try to keep it to 3-4 cups a day - but have been known to polish off a pot or two in a day :) Don't tell!

I've wanted a little coffee shelf sitter for my table for a bit - so I chose to make my own for this hop. I found this 5" x 5" open shadow box at Dollar General for just a couple dollars. There is a picture in it of a rainbow, but I covered that with a square of the DSP. Then I basically just created a card front -

Cutting out the cups from the DSP; making a base with Early Espresso cut from our Deckled Rectangles, and adding more DSP - then layering it all up. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but to give this some dimension I layered the entire Early Espresso layer up on dimensionals, as well as the center coffee cup. So here is how I display it now -

Doesn't it look great!! I just love it so much!
