Welcome to the Stampin' Friends January Blog Hop!  This month's theme is LOVE.
If you're following along the hop you arrived from Kim Smith's blog.
http://craftingbuddy.blogspot.com/2017/01/stampin-friends-january-blog-hop.html
This month's card is for my SWEETIE!  Paul and I have been married over 40 years - and I swear I love him more than ever.  We have got a LOT going in our lives - but he is always there for me  - and truly my LOVE!  The Sealed with Love Bundle from the SU! Occasions catalog fit the bill for me.  I used the traditional Whisper White and Real Red - but added in some non-traditional Tip Top Taupe and Pool Party - and I love how they all came together to make this beauty.
The Sending Love DSP was perfect for the little envelopes spilling out their Hearts of Love!  Inside my wish and a little kiss!  I love how you can put more than one stamp on the clear block and stamp it just once.

My second project is this adorable little banner.  It only took 2 - 6x6" pieces of DSP, a few staples and a little ribbon to put this together.
Here you can see a close up and the pretty papers used.  It's going to be used on my seasonal wreath - and isn't up yet, because I may (or may not have) taken down my Christmas portion of the wreath - YET!  Please don't judge! lol
However - that doesn't take away from how adorable this is!  Hope you liked it too!
PS - here it is added to my wreath -
Please leave a comment - one lucky commenter - just might win some of that pretty DSP!!  So onto more great ideas - don't forget to click the NEXT button below to continue the hop with Andrea Tracy-Tucker's post.  So let's jump right in -

Sunday Morning Musings - and LOVE on this Valentine's Day!

Started the day out great with a cup of rich French Roast (love) in my beautiful Valentine's mug (love).  Also exchanged some sweet little somethings with those I love (love). Do you get the theme here.  Then off to church - and it was very nice (love).

So just have to share with you today, that I Corinthians 13:6 - really says it all when it comes to what LOVE really is.  So for those you care for - I mean truly care for - you need to bear and endure all that comes with that - while always hoping and always believing in them - for that is TRUE LOVE.
Hope your Valentine's day is wonderful in every way.  If you don't have a Valentine - how about getting out there and doing a RAK for someone - show the love in some way to a stranger - you just never know what your kindness might do for them!  Love you all!   ~Maureen

Ronald McDonald House Charities - your opportunity to support a great cause!

As many of you know Stampin' Up! supports Ronald McDonald House Charities* every year.  I devoted my January Cards for a Cause to raise money to send to this charity.  I have a nice little donation from my events, but would like to be able to donate more to them.  If you don't know what this charity is all about - please click on the link at the bottom of this page.* They do so much good for families with children that have critical injuries or diseases.  I was shocked to hear from several people who responded to my events of how RMHC had personally touched them or their family members.  So during this Valentine's Week I want to share the LOVE even more by offering to donate all of my profits for any online orders placed now through Sunday, February 14, directly to RMHC.  In addition, if you purchase the set below, besides my profits, SU! will donate an additional $3.00 to RMHC.  It is a great set - see a few samples made with it later in this post.  You can place your order directly through my website by clicking on the "SHOP NOW" button on the side of this post.  Your order will be shipped directly to your home.
Featured set of the month:
Sprinkles of Life #139971 (22 Photopolymer images) $21.00
(also available in wood)
If you order the photoplymer set you will need the following clear blocks also -
Suggested blocks A, C and G
what's even better is that you can order this coordinating Tree Builder punch to go with it.  Makes using all those cute elements so much easier.

Here are a few cute samples made with this set -

*For more information on this charity - please check out their website at - http://www.rmhc.org
Hope you never have to use Ronald McDonald Charities - but let's see what we can do together to support this wonderful cause!  Have a great happy and healthy day.  ~Maureen

Personal Post Monday - Zamarah turns "5"

I cannot believe it - but this little cutie turned "5" today!  I so remember sitting in the hospital with Jenee all  day on Valentine's Day 2010 - just waiting for her arrival.  Jenee so wanted a Valentine's baby - but Zamarah in true fashion had a mind of her own and didn't arrive till the 15th.  But what a little blessing she is to our family.
Since this sweetheart is over in Arizona - we had to send our gifts off to her along with some Valentine goodies for all the kids and Jenee.  Fortunately they arrived on time and here she is with her haul on Valentine's day.  Just look how happy!!
This morning when she got up - this is what Jenee had awaiting her.  She had mentioned the day before to Jenee that maybe when she came down the stairs everyone would be hiding behind the couches and jump out and say "SURPRISE!!" but Jenee assured her that would not happen - so I guess this was the next best thing.
And even though this last picture is a little blurry I have to share - because this is this little one's personality to a tee - she keeps us all on her toes wondering what she will do or say next.
Zamarah - just know that Papa and I are sooooo thankful for you and pray God will bless your little life, keep you safe, and lead you in His ways.  Can't wait to see you soon!!  Love you so, Gramma

A Heart from Paisley

Just had to share this text I got from my grand-daughter Paisley in Arizona.  She sent it to me the other morning after dropping some water on the counter - it looked like a heart and made her think of me.  How sweet is that.  Sure miss her - can't wait to see her and her whole family in July!
Love you sweetie!  ~Gramma
