I'm BACK!!

Okay - we're back - from two full weeks of traveling the U.S.  - what a great trip - but I'll post more on it next Monday in my personal post - but now back to stamping.  Today I'm sharing a great video for a cute little gift bag with a closing flap from Stampin' Up!  You'll need the Gift Bag Punch board to do this - but of course you'd want it any way because it is an amazing little tool.   Enjoy the video by clicking on the arrow below -

Here's another picture of the boxes that were made in the video - how cute.  If I get a chance I'll try and make one today and share tomorrow - so be sure to stop back.
Now off to catch up on my laundry, unpacking, cleaning, and of course STAMPING!!! ~Maureen

Personal Post Monday - Hang in there with me!!

Hi all - just a quick post - lots to blog about - but no time to do it.  I'm considering October this year a lost month for blogging.  Between 2 classes, 1 special ladies event, my downline meeting, Cards for a Cause, traveling, some family stuff and that's just to tip of the iceberg.  I probably - realistically won't blog again till the end of the month.  But hang in there with me.  Before you know it I'll be back - with lots to say :)  Ta ta for now - enjoy the great fall weather - and give thanks for all that is wonderful and keeps us so busy :) and I will see you soon! ~Maureen

Happy Halloween!! Cards!!

Sharing the two cards we are making at Saturday's Witch Hat event.  Both of them are made primarily with products from the kit.  The first one I made a little more spooky looking by using the darker side of the striped layer and sponging a lot on the card and elements, to give it a darker, more haunting look.
While the second card uses the same set, but the brighter side of the striped layer and no sponging.  I added a couple of pieces of the web doilies to give it a little dimension, rather than stamping the webs like I did above.  I really like how both turned out - and they are very different - but use a lot of the same components.  Cool to show different looks with the same set.
Halloween is going be here before you know it!!!  Are you ready?  (Insert evil laugh)  See you soon!  ~Maureen
