Starburst Technique cards....

Today I want to share the card we made at Club for our technique - it is the Starburst and I used one of my very favorite sayings "you make me HAPPY".  We use our DSP stacks with the current in-colors - and I absolutely love how it turned out.

This technique has really become addicting to me - I just love making these cards.  Here is another I made with an extra Starburst I had.  How fun would these be to send to someone you love!
Below are all the project we made a my Club.  We're open now for new members - you commit to a $25 a month purchase and in return  you get all these great projects - you can't go wrong.  Contact me if  you'd like to join my club - it's a one year commitment!!  and we'd love to have you join us!!
Thanks for stopping by!  ~Maureen

Tootsie Pop Valentine

Sharing the cute little Tootsie Pop holder that we made for our Club 3D project.  It is soooo simple - you just take a 2" x 8.5" strip of cardstock.  Score it at 1" - 3.5" - 5" - 7.5" - fold and punch a small hole in the center of each of the two end flaps for sucker to go through.  Fold it up, and stick the sucker stick up through the holes and let sucker settle into the box.
Now decorate and give to see the smiles :)  Here is a side view.  This would be a great little favor for any holiday dinner - just change up the design and colors.
Hope you enjoyed!!! ~Maureen

January H20 Projects - II

Here are the rest of the projects from our January H20 kits.  The first three pictures are of the other two cards you got if you did the cards only kit.  This one uses the negative of the love with red cardstock behind.

The last two pictures are of the two 3D items that were included in the mixed kit instead of the houndstooth card, and the card above.

Are you loving it???  Then you won't want to miss out on February's kit!  Find the full details in the H20 and the H20 order form sections at the top of this blog. Come on - quench your crafting thirst!!  ~Maureen

Technique Club

For my January technique club we did the Starburst technique.  I've got to tell you - this technique is addictive.  It's a great way to use up small scraps of DSP to create a beautiful design.  Here is the 6x6" technique card we made for our binders.  We used the Venetian Romance DSP - so pretty!!
Here is just another angle to see the pattern - as I cut these and get ready to put my layers together I get so excited to see how it will turn out.  Once I start - I don't want to stop.
Hope you've had a chance to try this technique.  If not, be sure you do, cuz I'm sure you'll love it too.  ~Maureen

January Hostess Gift

So today I just want to share my hostess gift for my January Club Hostess - as always I package it in a Chevron treat bag closed with a decorated clothespin.  Sorry this pic is a bit blurry.
And inside - this set of beautiful cards.  I am so in love with all of the watercolor merchandise in our Occasions catalog.  I totally cased the bottom left card from an image I saw on Pinterest - and then adjusted it with different colors and sentiments and layouts to get this set of four cards.  I also love both of these sentiments - "Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful" - how true!
And "You make me Happy"  how great is that to send to someone you care about.
I hope Julie loved the cards - she was a great hostess!!  ~Maureen

Homemade Mugs :)

So for Christmas this year Paisley and Prince made us mugs.  The first two pictures are of the one that Paisley made for me.  You've got to read what it says, "I love you when you're sad, mad, happy, glad, constipated, loving, angry, blue .... I Love you!!  How cute is that - she is a kick.  I asked her if she knew when I was constipated, and she said no - but it sounded funny - and I agree.  I love it!!  I is my new work mug!
Here is the other side of it -
She also made one for Papa - obviously he is never constipated :)
And the other side allows  him to be a "Duck Dynasty" character.
Here is the one Prince made Papa - this side shows him and Papa together (he loves his Papa) -
And this side says it all - the fish are a nod to their fishing trip a bit back.   Very sweet!
I'm afraid the baked marker images may wear off - so I'm glad I've captured them in pictures here, as these made us smile.  ~Maureen

Brand new Christmas PJ's!

Every Christmas Eve I guy new PJ's for all the grandkids - I'd love to get them all the same, but the ages and sizes make that nearly impossible.  So here are the boys - Zavian and Prince's are just alike - but Kyan had a bit of his own style.

And the girls - I was able to get Paisley, Kamili and Makai's all alike, but Zamarah had to have different PJ bottoms - oh well - I still think they all look adorable.
Here's the whole crew after a fun night of goodies and stocking stuffers!  How they make my life wonderful!!
 Love you kiddos!! ~Gramma

December H2O kits - Part 2

Today I'm sharing the final projects that members received in their December H20 kits.  Kits included everything (except adhesives and clear blocks) to complete the projects shown.  January kits went out this weekend.  If you'd like to sign up for the next month (February) click on the H20 information at the top of this page.  This first picture was the inside of the first card from yesterday's post - sorry I didn't post it with it.

Customers received one or the other of the two projects below depending on if they chose the kit of mixed cards and 3D  items - or if they picked the cards only kit.
