Father's Day Goodies

Just had to share the Father's Day goodies hubby got from our daughter Heidi. This bottle of wine and card.
The card was part of the May Paper Pumpkin kit.  This was a really nice set, and if you didn't want or need Father's Day these would be great masculine birthday cards.  Just look at all the great details on here.
Then she got him a nice bottle of red wine -but the kicker was it was dressed up with a tie - and yes - a tie tac.  It was such a cute presentation. How fun!!
Hope you enjoyed - stop back soon!  ~Maureen

Simple Work of Art

So I am just in love with SU's new Work of Art stamp set - it makes such cute, simple, amazing cards.  Here I made a welcome card for two of my newest downline.
Here's the same in yellow as thank you's for my helpers at my last downline meeting.
And some in purple - just "thinking of you' cards.
Here's the set, and as I said it is amazing. But if you get it in wood it is a bear to get back in the box.  Thank you Sarah for figuring it out for me.  Now I have a picture to follow :)
See you all soon!  ~Maureen

In Color Sampler

At our last downline meeting we made these great in-color samplers - these are a great tool for the demonstrators to use at workshops to highlight these amazing colors, as well as how the ribbon, ink and cardstock all coordinates so perfectly.
Here's the entire set put together - sorry about the glare!
Hello Honey
Lost Lagoon
Mossy Meadow
Tangelo Twist
Blackberry Bliss - so this picture is really washed out - don't know why.  But you can see how cute the card is.  To see a  more accurate color of Blackberry Bliss - check out the sampler at the top (the one with the glare :) )
 See you all soon!! ~Maureen

Tap, Tap, Tap

Look at this great card we made at our Downline Meeting last week.  Heidi volunteered to one of our projects this month and this is what she came up with.  The card uses our Tap, Tap, Tap set and the Gorgeous Grunge set for the ink splatters.
We stamped, watercolored, highlighted and cut out the typewriter and popped it up on dimensionals. Here's a close-up of the typewriter.

Wanna come and be a part of my team of Crazy Stamping Ladies? You can stamp with us too!!  Join now for just $50.  Click the link below to sign-up now, or contact me for full details!

Undefined snail

Little late in posting this - but this is the stamp that Heidi carved at our open house to show the great Undefined line of products from Stampin' Up!   With these products you can turn  your own artwork into your own rubber stamp creation.
The snail on the left is the stamped image, the one in the middle is the actual stamp she carved and on the right is the picture she drew and used to make the stamp.  This is such a fun and creative way to show your own artwork.  Just email me if you'd like to know more. ~Maureen

Blendabilities Demonstration

At our Downline meeting Heidi demonstrated our fantastic blendabilities for the group.

Here she is talking about them - the tips, the caps, the sets, etc.
She then showed how she starts with the darkest in the color group and moves to the lightest, blending as she goes; and then goes back in and adds depth with the dark again, and highlights by lifting some off some of the color with the color lifter.  These markers are amazing.
Here's her finished card - how beautiful is that.
Thanks Heidi for a great demonstration. ~Maureen

Just a single layer card, a great set and some beautiful SU colors.
Voila!  There you go - card all done!  Thanks a bunch Kathy!

Final Open House Project

So here's the last project you were able to make if you came by our Open House.  It's an adorable little treat 2-4-6-8 box.  You score a piece of 8.5 x 11" card stock whatever height you want at the 2" 4" 6" and 8" marks and then horizontally at the 1.5" mark.  This allows you to fold it up into a cute little open top box.
Use sticky strip as shown to close the bottom and side.  Put in some little treats, crease in the sides and close by adding the banners and stapling.  You can decorate these any way you wish - aren't they adorable!
Here's our new product display and some project life samples.
Meg and Debbie shopping from our retired sets.
Heidi, Sue and Marie chatting and munching.
It was a great day but we still have tons of retired products.  So Saturday morning 6/21 we'll be doing a blow out sale - everything 50% off plus a chance to get bonus FREE sets.  Watch for details!!  ~Maureen
