Prize #12 - Another 6x6" Sampler package of Dashing Along DSP - Lmtd. Edition. Used in today's project -
~*~*~*~*~
I really love this DSP and I used it last month for my technique clubs as we learned to make a Never-Ending Card!   This card was a request from a club member, and a bit of a challenge - but once I figured it out - so much fun!  It opens in four steps - these split horizontally for step 1 -
Step 2 splits vertically -
Step 3 splits horizontally -
And finally Step 4 opens vertically - to bring you back to step 1 - how cool is that.  I figured it out by following a bunch of YouTube videos - just search never-ending cards.
Then to finish it off since it ended up being a 6"x6" card we made coordinating envelopes using the Stampin' Up! envelope punch board - here is the outside - which will need labels for addresses.
And here is the other side where you insert the card - it was so easy to make!  Remember that square cards always take extra postage.
Here is a simple diagram of how the cards open.  Hope you can find instructions that will help you create one - as they are really a fun card to make and to give.

Prize #11 -Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.
~*~*~*~*~
As I said life got ahead of me and I did not have time to do the project I had hoped to share today - so am sharing another gift card gift box using our Pillow boxes.  This was copied almost directly from Mary Fish - and we made them a part of our Snowflake Showcase class last month.  They are just a different take on the one I posted a few days ago - but this one has a more mature look to it.
I used the tulle ribbon to decorate and tie this box -and the beautiful snowflake dies from that showcase that are unfortunately no longer available - but any pretty snowflake die would work.
What for my final post for this special 12 days of Christmas later today!

Prize #10 - 6x6" Sampler package of Dashing Along DSP - Lmtd. Edition. Used in today's project -
~*~*~*~*~
Sharing a very quick and easy treat wrap today - these are fun to make and a great way to share a little treat.  These are our neighbor gifts this year - so made up 10 of them.
Each one contains a package of these Krispy Kreme Coffee Thins - I love that the colors on the package are also Christmas colors.  So all we are making is a quick wrap that they slide right out of.
To make this wrap I took a piece of 6x6" Cherry Cobbler and folded it around the box to get the placement of my score marks.  I used 12x12" cardstock so I could get four out of one sheet.  For this little sleeve I scored at 1 1/8", 1 1/2", 4" and 4 3/8".  But you could do the same with any candy/treat and get your own score measurements.  Then I cut a 1 1/2" belly band out of the Dashing Along DSP, and a cup with another sheet from that DSP using the Coffee Cups framelits.  I added the whipped cream and a vellum cover - plus a little heart.  These were punched from a retired punch shown - but you could add any little embellishment.
The little wish at the bottom is from the "First Frost" set and is actually a miniature card that opens and I added my little wish for a Merry Christmas.  These wraps would be perfect for Stocking Stuffer candy also.  Have fun!

Prize #9 - Package of Pillow Boxes. Used in today's project -
~*~*~*~*~
FUN project today - I have 8 (count 'em) 8 grandkids and they all wanted gift cards for Christmas.  So I had to find a fun way to "gift" them.  And I did - I made these adorable gift card holders using Stampin' Ups! printed pillow boxes.  I just decorated them - added some tissue paper, candies and the gift cards and closed up and tied shut.
If you don't have SU's pillow boxes you can still make your own.  Just use the template below -you can make them as large or small as you want, then trace on your own cardstock and cut out and score.  Be sure to use some extra sticky adhesive along the side where you close it, as it will need to hold up to you filling with goodies!

I used the adorable Santa's Workshop DSP - cutting 6" by 1 1/2" strips of the striped candy cane paper; and fussy cutting out the little elves and Santas.
For my ribbon - I cut it long enough to wrap around the box and be able to tie on one end.  On the back the striped paper the 6" didn't quite meet, so I added adhesive and glued the ribbon over it.
On the front the ribbon went under the stripes, then I popped up the different images on dimensionals.  Here is one filled, and I added a little name tag when tying it shut, with some twine.
Super loving how they all look under the tree - and hoping the grandkids will love them too!
