October Advanced Card Class - part II

First of all - Happy Halloween - hope you have a safe and fun Halloween with those you love!
Now moving right into November :) It is the season of Thanksgiving - well at least for me - I strive to be thankful every day of the year.  So it was so fun for me to create this cute little tunnel card to celebrate that Thankfulness.  This was the second card we made at this month's advanced card class.
Here it is a little more from a side angle so you can see how much dimension it has.  It folds flat to fit into a regular envelope and then pull it out, push in gently on the sides and it forms this little tunnel.
Here's another angle showing the crinkled, splattered and sponged leaves and acorn and the stamped envelope.
Finally a close up - just so you can really see all the detail on this card.  LOVE IT!!
Today was a really rough day for me, but posting this card brough a smile to my face and reminded me how much I have to be thankful for.  Hope you like it too - I'd love to hear from you!  ~Maureen

October Advanced Card Class I

Today I'm sharing the first card we made at Advanced Cards - it is a Christmas card with a surprise inside.  We used the Festival of Trees stamp set and Tree Punch.  I saw a very similar card on Pinterest and used it as my inspiration.
The beautiful "Season's Greetings" verse is from Watercolor Winter Too.  The All is Calm Designer series paper with coordinating colors of Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky are just beautiful together.
And inside - voila - a pop-up of a forest of trees to wish you a Merry Christmas.  You can see how the pop-up is folded below.
And here is is from the front.
Finally a close-up to see the dimension on the trees, the dots and glitter on the snow.
It really turned out pretty - the perfect card to send to someone special in your life.  Would love to hear from you about what you think.  ~Maureen

October Hostess gift...

Each month my hostesses get a cute little hand-stamped gift from me.  This year each of them gets a little decorated crate with stamped note paper and matching pen..  Since it's Fall - this month I went with that theme and stamped the note paper with acorns - cute huh?
I used the Soft Suede paper from the Park Lane Designer Series Paper - added an antique brad to my flower to finish it off.
It is a fully functional gift that can be made to fit any color scheme and it's made many a hostess happy :)  See you all soon.  ~Maureen

Curvy "Grateful" box

Today's post is the 3D project we made at this month's club.  We made it in the same type and colors to match the card - check out yesterday's post.
This little framelit for curvy treat boxes is amazing.  Isn't it just adorable.  The cute little packages made with this are endless - don't believe me?!?  Just search Curvy box on Pinterest and you'll find out. LOL
We added the verse and cut out one of the acorns from the set "For All Things" and used my fav new punch - the Note Tag punch.  Filled it up with another of my favs - Stork Reisen candies - yum!!!  Whatcha think - huh??  Let me know.  Till next time.  ~Maureen
