 1.    Score Boho Blue card base at 4 ¼

2.    Ink up the standing cake plate in Pebbled Path and stamp onto scrap of Basic White CS.   Using Moody Mauve ink, stamp two (2) of the larger rectangles, and one (1) of the smaller rectangles. I stamped off before stamping my final rectangles. Also, using the scrap Basic White CS

3.    Ink up a Moody Mauve again and stamp happy, birth, day full strength into the rectangles.  I then fussy cut them out.

4.    Using Lemon Lime Twist stamp one (1) leaf and Berry Burst to stamp the largest flower.

5.    Die cut the shapes on the scrap CS with the Birthday Celebration dies.  Die cut the White Glimmer Specialty Paper with the frosting line dies.

6.    Emboss the 4 x 5 ¼ “CS with the Starstruck Embossing Folder

7.    Adhere with Seal to the front of the card base.  Build your cake and cake plate by overlapping Stampin’ Dimensionals on your layers.  I find it easier to work from the bottom up.  Add your cake to the front of the card.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Notes From the Heart - December 2024

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop!  I am so excited to be a part of this team of hoppers sharing alternative designs for each month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  This month's kit is all about beautiful Floral notes!!  Hopefully what we show will inspire you.  Be sure to hop all the way through to see what this amazing team has come up with!
Here is the unboxing video - so you can see all that is included and how the kit can come together.
~*~*~*~*~
December: Notes From the Heart
Create cards with hand-sketched botanical designs.
• Makes 9 projects: 3 each of 3 designs
• Precut vellum pieces and sparkling gems
• Scalloped card bases and coordinating envelopes
• Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Flirty Flamingo,
Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
~*~*~*~*~
I love the elegance of these beautiful botanical images.
This is another kit that is just awesome just the way it is; so I played with ways to step it up a bit without changes it's beauty.  First of all I cut the Scallop base apart to make two card layers.  My first card is very feminine.  I layered one of the above pieces onto a cardbase of Pretty in Pink. Then I embossed a 4" x 5" piece of Pretty in Pink using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and layered it next over to the left.  This made a beautiful pallette to add my flower, sentiment and gems to.
Then I took the other half of the scallop layer and changed it up a bit to make a more masculine version.  For this one we started with a Mossy Meadow base and layer.  The layer was embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing folder.  I thought the scallops were a bit feminine, so I used my paper cutter to trim off the edges making it look a pit more like a postage stamp image.
Then layered it all again using the fern image and one of the vellum leaf sprigs that really pops against the dark background.  I wanted the envelope to match, so I trimmed the label edges too.
I love how these turned out, and how versatile this makes this kit.
~*~*~*~*~
Don't forget to shop the Merry Tags & More Dies Add-on ($12.00) - available only to Paper Pumpkin subscribers and only while supplies last!
I hope you've enjoyed these alternative ideas.  Now be sure to hop through the rest to get some more great inspiration.  Don't forget to leave a comment, as we'd love to hear what you think.
