Three more beautiful cards ...

Today's birthday cards all come from three of my downline.  The first uses some bold, bright patterns of color - and I especially love how the Black circle pops the greeting!  This beauty was made by Jean B.

The second one comes from Jeri - and I love it!  It's from the Watercolor Wishes card kits.  Our card kits make it so easy for you to make a bunch of lovely cards in no time at all - and this is a great example.

My final card today if from Kathy B.  This flower is no longer available - although when it was it was a favorite of mine - and she knows my favorite color is yellow.  We have several current flower in the catalog that could be used to duplicate this look.  So pretty with a wink of glimmer!

I received so many amazing birthday cards this year - and hope you can use them as inspiration - more to come so stop by soon!  ~Maureen

More Shoeboxing

So today I'm sharing a couple more of our Shoebox Swap cards - thought I'd be done today - but nope - still have at least one more day of sharing some of these great creations.  Her is Kathy B's card - just cannot go wrong with this set.  Kinda sad it's not coming back in the BIG catalog ;(
And then my card.  I was really, really happy with how it turned out.  Sweet, clean, simple - but ADORBS!!  This flower and punch also will not be in the new catalog.
Here is a close-up from the top so you can see some of the dimension of the card.  Kinda sad the flower set and punch are going away, as I just started using them.
That's it for today - see you soon with the final Shoebox installment :)  ~Maureen

Beautiful realistic woodgrain

So at our last downline meeting Kathy B demonstrated how to get an amazing woodgrain look.  It's done by layering several colors, including craft white and each layer moving the woodgrain over just a hair.

Here are some of the steps, and it does not do it justice - up close it looks as if you might get sliver running your finger over it.
Here's a few pictures of her as she goes through the steps with the group of crazy stamping ladies and answers their questions.

Below are three of the amazing cards she showed that use this technique....

Great technique for us to all try - I know that I'm gonna.  See you soon - thanks for stopping by.  ~Maureen

Downline Meeting Share Table

At our quarterly downline meetings we always have a share table where demonstrators can put out samples from classes, our personal to share with the group.  Wanted to share a few things that were shared at the last meeting.  I've given credit to who shared below the picture - but please forgive me (and let me know) if I put the wrong person.  I think in the future I'll put out little tags for them to put their names out, in case I can't confirm.  But I always love what they bring to share -

This final sample was made by 4 year old Amelia - daughter of Sarah Neill - Amelia aspires to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - and from the looks of things she's gonna be very successful.
Stop back soon to see more of what did at our meeting - samples, demonstrations, projects. ~Maureen
